This is a great tv for the price. I've got a much more expensive one I've bought since this one, and this one is right on par. The only time I noticed any quality difference between the two is when playing a single ps4 game and I likely wouldn't have then if the two hadn't been side by side. If I was to rebuy the pair knowing what I know now, I would have gotten a second of this one rather than spend the extra five hundred. The only thing I would complain about is the speaker quality, which isn't that bad anyway, but I use a surround sound system with it and boom problem solved. (I'll also note the more expensive one received the same complaint.)
I love everything about this TV except for one minor detail - switching the input. I haven't found a way to quickly change the input other than the input button which only displays the options for about 3 seconds which is way too quick for me. The color and clarity of this TV is outstanding!
The TV was easy to setup, but was disappointed to find out that DirectTV Now app was not on it nor can it be added. It can be cast from phone or tablet, but I used Chromecast before and prefer the Roku stick, so added Roku to this TV. Now I can add Channels that aren't on the TV. I recommend to set TV to Quick startup instead of Eco Energy saving as takes too long for it to come up in ECO setting on mine. Nice TV and got it for a good price.
I bought this item and it works well but it did not include an owner's manual. It took a while to experiment with the settings to get it to work correctly. And there are some issues that I am still trying to refine, which would have been easier if the information was included with the product. Sam's Club delivery was a hassle as usual. The tracking said it was in California when they called to deliver it. And then they took 4 more days to deliver even though I asked for the next day.
I don't need to tell you it's big, has solid smart features and has clear 4K picture. Here are the geek details you need to know: - mounting points are low, bottom 1/3 of the TV. So it always wants to tilt down on your mount. - 60mhz refresh rate. What does that mean- you don't get that super clear movement quality on the screen. - WiFi antenna/processor are not super quick/ I have a 800Mbps connection and the WiFi never exceeds 18,000 KB/s. That is equal to 145Mbps... hard line connection is the way to go. Other than that- it's big, it's 4k and gets you a smart tv with Alexa/Echo integration for under $550
Got it last week. Pilot did a bad job scheduling a window and attempting to deliver in different time. First impression is good but remote is mediocre, don't like it after using LG's air remote. Also hate that I need to point it in exact direction. Still could not connect with smart cast app.
i purchase this tv because of the RCA jack in the pictures. they need to up date there pic. what you see is not what you get
I bought the Vizio 65 inch 4K less than 2 years ago and most of it is dark now. Started going dark in upper left corner and traveled down the whole left side and now there are stripes going across the bottom right corner. Called Vizio and they don't care. It's all over the internet about these TVs, don't buy them!
I'm unhappy about my purchase although it was opened in a timely manner it was purchased in good faith it was broken from day one and I feel terrible that I cannot return and get my purchase moneys worth I have not received 1 min of entertainment for this purchase just disappointed
Would be a great tv if the screen was properly installed during assembly. There are black streaks on the top & down the right side. It's like the screen wasn't smoothed out properly during assembly. Did some research about the issue & sure enough this is a problem with Vizio tvs.
