I bought this TV (from Walmart, obviously) and the picture was blurry on the right of the screen. It burned into the screen so it was always there. I think something might've impacted it. Within the same hour I contacted Vizio about it and they sent me a brand new one, free of charge! Their warranty covered it. Very excellent customer service from Vizio. Picture is superb! Sound is kinda trash though. I highly recommend looking into a sound bar though for a TV this size.
I've had the tv for a few weeks now and it works great. My previous TV was about 7 years old and I was due for an upgrade. This E-Series has all the bells and whistles that I needed, 4K, smart, local dimming, while being super affordable. I could not be happier with my purchase. My only complaint is that the TV only comes with 3 HDMI ports.
That's why I always stick to Vizio! Even though my warranty was up on my TV customer service went above and beyond to help me get a replacement considering my TV was only two years old I own ATVs in my house and every single one of them is Visio and I wouldn't have it any other way awesome company and great customer service
I had. 70" Vizio that lost the picture after 2 1/2 years. Very disappointed with that. Vizio had a bad batch and extended the warranty to 2 years. Unfortunately it died shortly thereafter. They did offer a factory direct purchase but really not a good deal. I purchased anyways. This newer model has a much sharper picture.
I have Sony LED HD Smart 43 inch TV, and the Surround sounds on this Sony is not as good as this Vizio to be honest. I did the apple to apple comparison. The picture quality of Vizio is also much better. If the videos being played is not 4k, of course you won't get the 4k out of it. I put this TV in our pretty big Common Hall with 20' ceiling, and it sure looks fantastic! Our young kids just love it so much! However, to make the listening better I bought the Vizio 5.1 Sound Bar, and hook it up with the TV. The watching and listening have become Wow!!!
Very good picture good sound but maybe u will need sound bar. There is no apps store u have to download all apps in your phone and cast it to the tv
This was given to me as a gift I've had it for a week and only got it on the wall last night. I was a bear to get working with direct TV. I'm unable to get it working with my old Sony Bluray. For some reason, I can't get it to work. For the longest time, I was not able to get it working where I could both hear it and see it on the screen. I'm going to play with it for a while to see if I can get it all going together. I'm not overly impressed with the quality of the picture coming from DTV so will try streaming from Apple TV over the weekend to see if the picture quality improves. Nice size for my room. It is replacing an almost 10-year-old Sony Bravia 55" 3D unit, so it has high standards to achieve.
The install and setup is painless. The image is excellent. Of course, you need a soundbar because the built in speakers aren't good for most residential use. My only complaint, and it bothers me enough that I almost rated 3 stars, is the smartcast menu and updates. With every update, I have to redo the menu and they've continued to make the channel apps - the only thing most people actually use- smaller and farther down the list and the ads for movies and other pay apps bigger and more prominent. I gave it 4 stars because The company was quick and responsive when my son broke the screen, which is a big deal. But the app thing bothers the heck out of me.
A blessing and yet a curse are the multiple settings to gain the best picture possible. I've looked online for tips in adjusting the picture quality, which has helped, but I am still not satisfied. The definition of my five year old Vizio (1080) was much better, although it had fewer settings. That one suffered from the common speckled/spotted picture that I guess is a common defect. I've been a loyal Vizio supporter, but I will have to try a different brand next time.
I bought this TV over a month ago and paid for it and as of today it is still not working and on 1/3/19 the Vizio people are to come out to our home to replace the TV with a new one that works - Very disappointed in Sam's and Vizio!
