For the price...Great!

hose January 28, 2022

OK, this is a 70" smart tv for under $500. The picture is good, it's not OLED quality, but for the price... I paired it with an Vizio M series 2.1 soundbar(Christmas present) and an Amazon fire tv cube($69.99 Treasure Truck sale) and for under $750 I've got a great viewing experience on a budget.

This TV is awesome for the price.

warz November 28, 2021

This TV is awesome for the price. I did my research and there isn't anywhere that sells this item for the price I've gotten it on black friday. I have previously owned a Vizio so I did experience how reliable Vizio's are. I'm not only happy with the purchase, but the resolution is incredible. I've tried a variety of 4K and 8K youtube videos and programs and the images are very clean crisp and detailed, the sound is also very loud and clear. If you are upgrading from a 1080P I highly recommend this TV. There is also an app for your phone, but I'd rather use the remote. I also have my amazon fire stick connected to it. This is the best buy I've done during black friday! Some people give this set critical reviews, maybe it's because they are comparing it to something much more expensive? Not sure. Trust me you'll be really gratified after watching it.

Great TV at a wonderful price!

Albert November 30, 2022

I usually don't write reviews until I have had an item for a while to make sure that it lives up to its descriptive brochure. That being said, this may or may not change in the future. At first, I was a little hesitant to get another Vizio TV because the first one that I got was limiting in app selections. I went ahead and took the plunge and purchased this tv as it was a tremendous value for the size. I was a little nervous about the "free delivery" because I had read other reviews where others stated, "don't have it delivered or they will damage it". The delivery was flawless from Walmart, and the two individuals delivered it in a Ford F-150 to my house (not a FedEx, UPS, or USPS delivery). They handled the perfectly boxed TV into my house's front foyer. It took me about an hour to unbox and setup with all of my other devices. About the Picture Quality - PERFECT! The picture quality is actually better than I expected. I hooked up a 4k HDMI cable to my cable box, and I think this does help, although not necessary. I also hooked up a soundbar via an optical cable and the sound was off by a microsecond making it unuseable UNTIL I found the "Lip Sync" feature in the audio settings of the TV. I was able to "tweak" the lip sync to a number 7 and it was a perfect match from the soundbar to my tv's sound. This smart tv is a wonderful addition to our living room and I really cannot find anything wrong to say about it. The picture quality is phenomenal and the sound is good and made better with a soundbar. The TV weighs about 60lbs so I was still able to use my entertainment console because it has a weight limit of 133lbs. Overall, I am very pleased with this TV and would definitely purchase again.

Great tv at a great price.

DFunches July 21, 2024

Great television for the cost. Purchased this on sale as a replacement in our game room. The only complaint is that the stands are to the side and all of my televisions have stands in the middle. I worked a little magic to secure it to the tv stand.

A fine budget TV ruined by ads

Benjamin November 27, 2022

I got this TV because i needed something bigger for my living room but didn't want to break the bank. The TV itself is fine, the colors arent amazing and the speakers are not good, but thats to be expected with a budget TV. The thing about this TV that ruins the whole experience is Vizio's smart interface. It is riddled with ads which ruins the entire experience. Unlike Roku which will show you an ad on the side and screensaver which doesnt really take away from the experience, Vizio's home screen has an ad right at the top, then more suggested content "ads" right under that big first ad. And lastly you cant remove the 80 pre-installed apps from the TV. All I want is YouTube and Netflix but no, instead i have to have an entire catalog of apps that I will never use. I will not be purchasing another Vizio TV.

Pros: Tv is large in size, has many apps to choose from, easy to use, Black Friday pricing was awesome, remote is easy to use, set up was a breeze. Cons: Vizio has to stop placing the legs in the corners as the only option, quality of the tv is not what I expected, not bright or sharp. We deciding to gift it to our son and keep our 65" Curve Samsung a little longer, next time we'll shop based on quality and not price.

So far, unimpressed...

CarlosG November 30, 2021

Bought this set (albeit reluctantly) on a Black Friday deal after my first 2 options (TCL and HISENSE) got sold out. Build quality is passable at best. The frame feels flimsy and the back panel seems a bit thin and squeaks when manipulated to hang on a wall mount. So much for the positive things to say... Now for the grievances. 1.- Image Color calibration is terrible. Vivid mode is an eye reddening mix of over-burnt highlights, saturated magentas, bleeding greens and washed out blacks. Calibrated modes and muted modes such as Game and Sports are way better, even for daylight use. Lateral edges suffer from wash-out effect and cylindrical distortion. On a pitch black signal you can even single out all the matrix array LED lenses creating uneven round bright and dark areas on the panel. 2.-Sound Haven't had the time to test the built in speakers since I exclusively use it with my trusty DENON AVR, BUT! Sadly, this is one of my greatest grievances with the set. I got my AVR connected through the ARC HDMI port which used to work flawlessly with my defunct Samsung (R.I.P.) but with this VIZIO it's just a major pain in the buttocks. The volume keys on the VIZIO remote to operate my DENON through ARC are as unresponsive as a 90's Pentium PC trying to run Windows 11. When you try to make minor volume adjustments it won't respond.... so you click the button again. Once again, no response... so you click it one more, 2, 5, 8 times....nothing... suddenly the tv goes into mayhem mode and turns the volume to 1800% and you wake up the neighbors and the dogs in a 4 mile radius. So you frantically try to turn it back down and IT WON'T RESPOND!!! Utter garbage... smh 3.- Live Air TV I'm a cord cutter like 60% of the US population. I have Netflix, HBO, HULU, Disney , Peacock, Amazon Prime, you name it... but when I comes to watching news and sports, I like to pull my live TV from my external HD antenna. Even my mom's aging 15 y/o plasma flat panel comes with a simple tv guide mode you can summon with a quick click of a button on the remote so you can see what shows are on in every broadcast channel. Not this 70" 4k VIZIO set though... seems too advanced for their Ultra-Advanced IQ 16 core deep learning processor. You're stuck with either clicking ENDLESSLY one channel at a time until you find something you want to watch or memorizing (yes, really) your favorite channels and hot dialing them on the remote keypad. Piece of junk. TL;DR The only reason I haven't returned this 50 pound worth of scrap metal is because my back is sore from getting it hung up on my wall. As soon as my Salonpass kicks in it's going back where it came from and getting swapped for a reputable brand. Hope Walmart will honor their no-fuzz 90 day return policy.

Delivery and return process was a joke.

Jeremy August 2, 2024

The TV arrived broken. I tried to return it and was questioned as to whether this was the correct TV or not. Then they tried to give me a gift card instead of a refund. Do yourself a favor and just go to the store to purchase a TV. Do not do it online.

2 out of 3 tvs are broken

Angalique July 5, 2024

we ordered 3 of these tvs for our church during our remodel we recieved them and stored them safely. When the remodel was complete, we were finally able to open them to mount them and noticed 2 of the 3 have broken screens with no visible damage to box. tried to take them to Walmart but they said we were past their 30 day return policy and we had to talk to Vizio. when we called Vizio they said their warranty only covered manufacturer defect and that walmart was responsible for them since they store and ship the tvs. so now we are out $1000.00 and no one will take responsibility for the damage to the tvs.
