We've had the tv for about 3 weeks. The picture is phenomenal! So clear. Take the tome to adjust the settings to fine-tune the color. Love that there are buttons for Netflix & Amazon Prime right on the remote control. Great value! Great picture! Can't ho wrong.
This was an excellent buy, the TV was on the wall in 30 minutes, and started delivering an excellent picture, 2nd to none for me. I answered few questions and it came to life. Note, this TV was highly rated by CR (#2) and it delivers, at a great price. I highly recommend it.
Extremely happy with our choice of TV!
This is an awesome television! We love watching movies and the picture on this t.v. is just amazing. We are very pleased with this purchase.
Very please with my Vizio M-Series Q 4K UHD HDR Smart TV and the color is a wow factor
If you're looking for a solid 4K UHD TV look no further. Take the time to calibrate the picture settings for each input and signal type (HDR, Dolby Vision, UHD, etc) and enable the Full UHD Color setting for any input receiving a UHD signal. An internet search for TV calibrations should point you to a site with "rtngs". I'm coming from a 2013 model LG LCD TV. I've paired it to a Vizio 5.1 soundbar setup and every UHD/HDR experience has been awesome.
I have an LG 4k HDR OLED, an earlier M-Series VIzio 4k nonHDR, and a 2018 TCL 4k HDR with which to compare and which I ranked in picture quality in that order. This new Vizio Quantum M Series, while not matching the much more expensive LG OLED, comfortably slides into second place in that lineup. Good picture. Had an inexplicable issue with the set turning itself on at first while unattended, but their tech support quickly resolved that issue. Would definitely purchase again.
This TV is a great buy as it has many functions and 90. Spot FALD (full array local dimming) which gets the right brightness on up to 90 spots simultaneously. It has many streaming features and can get much brighter than others in the price range. My only complaint is it seems to have a low performance CPU asresponse to the remote can be very slow.
I bought this tv because of the great reviews and as a 4K tv it has a great picture and a sleek design. The reason I gave it three stars is because the main reason I bought this tv was the many smart feature the tv had; airplay, smartcast and watch free. The airplay works ok but I couldn't get my downloaded movies to airplay on the tv from my laptop. The smartcast apps are garbage. For a week or two it worked ok then they started glitching here and there, more frequently as time passed. Id be watching Netflix and the app would just kick me off, freeze or the tv would just turn off and Id have to unplug it and plug it back in to get it to even turn back on. Well, I waited too long to take it back and the though of shoving a 55 inch tv back in its box and taking it back to Walmart by myself wasn't something I really wanted to do so I bought an Apple 4K tv streaming box for the tv. As long as the tv is using an external streaming device, it doesnt glitch and I like Apples streaming platform better plus I can airplay any of my downloaded movies from my laptop through the Apple streaming box. Lesson learned. The watch free feature is pretty neat but the channels are all very basic and the picture quality is poor so unless ur a big news watcher its not really worth it. The sound quality of the tv is ok. I bought a sound bar for it. One of the features I did think was nice is the metal legs and they have foam bottoms for grip. They are good quality and as someone that moves a lot, I dont always like mounting my TVs so having a sturdy platform for the tv to sit on is important to me. The legs measure 41 1/2 inches apart for the 55 inch tv. I hope this review helps anyone trying to buy this tv.
Beautiful picture quality ! Two rite before hitting my two year mark with this tv ! The hardware gave out ! All I could see was purple rainbow across the screen ! Highly disappointing , considering I have another Vizio , Lower model still going after 5 years. Another thing , for years with all Vizio tvs , they have problems staying connected to wifi. Always have to factory reset tv. But this did it , I'll be going with Samsung going forward
