The picture is fantastic.

Sarah Sahara May 11, 2018

I got this TV a couple of nearly two months ago and I am very happy with the purchase. The TV I replaced with with was the a very basic flat screen and the difference in the picture clarity was striking. The Vizio's picture was much more clear and the colors much more vivid than the set I replaced. I have not yet had an opportunity to use use all the feature of the TV, but so far I think the picture quality is definitely one of the best on the market and the price is hard to beat. The only complaint I have it the remote set up. I would have liked a Hulu button instead of the other ones that I never use, but its not a huge deal.

More Than I Expected!!!

I've only had this TV for 2 weeks, so I can't tell you about every feature! What I can tell you is that the colors in this TV is absolutely amazing. For a whole week It was hard to tear me away from this TV. All I can say, if you are on the line of what series to buy, let me help you across that line. Please don't make the mistake an not get the P series!!! It's captivating!

Simple Set up, Best TV for th $$ hands down

Jtoboni August 21, 2017

I did a TON of research and ended up with the P65-C1. Couldn't be happier. I paired this TV with the bose soundtouch sound bar. The tv picked up the audio system right away with out me having to manually select ARC audio output. I had a vizio tv prior to this one so I knew what I was getting into. GREAT PRODUCT!

Stunning picture quality.... but still issues!

Reuben October 12, 2017

I actually work in TV development and had been testing multiple TV's for the last 24months, and had found to my surprise the Visio 4K had the best overall picture quality for the price point I wanted. The TV is stunning, the picture quality is amazing and I love my TV and would rate it an easy 5. So why not 5 stars ?... The TV has firmware bugs and I am waiting on a replacement TV to arrive, the picture will freeze every 20 mins, and no matter which setting or port, the picture freeze will happen. Visio know about the bug, and have released a firmware update, but it is not working on my panel, hence why I am waiting on a replacement. Another item people should know about, how to setup their TV. It is lucky I know about TV's, but if you want Dolby Vision 4:4:4 chroma, then you need to go into the individual port setting and change the setting to the HDMI port you want to enable for Dolby. This is not something you will find in picture setting... Overall the TV awesome and if my new TV replacement fixes out the panel issue then I would rate this a 5 star. experience. Shout out to the Visio tech support, they really helped try to solve the problem as like I said I work in TV development and I was trying to help debug the issue for Visio, and the tech support people.

All round good TV

Asmodeus June 17, 2017

Looking to upgrade and I achieved my goal. TV satisfies my requirements on most of my bulletpoints. My only complaint is with 2 things involving video playback. motion blur and quick bursts of shapless color, such as a fire flare up. Picture loses definition and color variation

A few bugs, but fantastic overall

jbeau July 5, 2017

After an exhaustive search I found that the P series was the best fit for my needs and I can say that I am not disappointed with that choice. For the value it easily rivals screens that cost $800 to $1000 more. While it does not quite reach the picture quality of an OLED display, it comes as close as I have seen and has some impressive features to fine tune the color and brightness for your individual needs. The full-array LED backlighting offers better control of black values and really punchy whites. Dark scenes from your favorite shows can now be experienced in their full glory and detail. I've found only two distractions from allowing me to score this as a 5-star value. There does seem to be a bit of break-in time where on occasion the screen will freeze and require a reboot. Online forums suggest that this will go away, but not sure why this would happen. Secondly, I'm disappointed by the quality of the speakers. If I can qualify that statement, I purchased this screen with the understanding that I would need a soundbar to support it for a better audio experience. However, this screen is not paper-thin and it does seem that a little more effort could have been put into providing some more effective speakers. When considering the purchase price of this screen, note that you will need to budget also for a sound system to complete the experience.

Love the P series

Zack November 20, 2017

Great TV though a little bummed the 55 inch has a IPS LCD style. This was not a deciding factor as VA and IPS have there strengths. I have only owned Vizio and as the 720 plasma flat screen still works great felt as I was two models behind time to upgrade to 4k. The quality is noticeably better than the E series but hard to tell between the M. IF given a second chance I'd get the M as it comes with a VA in all models.

High expectations were met

Fchern August 17, 2017

Picture is excellent as expected. Slight loss of brightness if not looking straight on. Not sure if all LEDs are like that. Lots of picture adjustments available, but I like the preset ‘calibrated’ picture. Sound from speakers is weak. Get a soundbar to supplement. I picked up the VIZIO SmartCast soundbar and I’m happy with it. Compared to my past smart TV, I do miss all the apps that can be launched from the TV. There is a minimum of popular apps available, but major apps like ESPN, Sling Tv etc are not there. This is probably a personal feature since I don’t like casting everything from my smartphone.

Great features but.....

Christopher April 7, 2018

If you buy this product from the actual site the delivery is extra long and as far as the TV goes the picture is great but I've had to constant problems on the network keeps dropping and it won't connect to any other network not even hotspots the only remedy is to soft restart the it works and to I get a constant big white flicker when I use the clear motion or the game latency mode so unfortunately I can't get the full effect of the TV

TV broke 1 month out of warranty!!

Christopher June 25, 2020

The TV worked well and decent picture quality, although the P55 I bought in 2014 actually had a better overall picture due to more dimming zones. However, within about 9 months of buying the TV, the screen would take longer and longer to turn on. Eventually, the TV screen would no longer turn on at all (only sound would come through)...just in time to be one month past the warranty date. This is known as the "black screen of death" and is a common problem on Vizio TVs, look it up. I purchased the TV on May 17, 2019 and the TV became completely useless on June 11, 2020...good timing on Vizio's part, they couldnt have planned it better! Customer service said "too bad, so sad", and did not even offer to prorate the replacement cost, or cover the cost of a repair by an authorized shop. I enjoyed the TV while I had it, but the poor customer service and bad quality control means that this will be the last Vizio I buy...especially since companies like LG and Samsung have been bringing their prices down in the last few years.
