I bought this TV 1 week ago... Completely satisfied with it .... The feautures on this TV are very helpful and really nice to have.
The TV is light, easy to take out of the box and attach the feet. I have to get a new TV stand to accommodate it although I had a different 60" on it. It came with new technology that I have to learn, but it didn't stop me from being able to watch my favorite channels.
I was wondering why the TV was the price it was and think I may have figured it out. We have a fire stick, so we don't subscribe to cable. It's not on the forefront that there is no TV tuner (antenna connector, coax input). So when we bought it we were caught off-guard when we couldn't boo up the antenna. It's a $35 fix to get regular TV running, though. And the other features, like casting from phone, work so easily that it more than makes up for the little hiccup we ran into. I shouldhave grabbed two while it was so cheap! :)
The 4K looks amazing and optimizing the colors really make it pop. The SmartCast is everything I need for all the apps I use. I only have Vizio TVs and sound bars in my house since the first flat screen tv I bought was about 10 years ago and that tv still works great. The 4 hdmi outlets is more then enough. The menus are easy to navigate and set up very well. I would definitely recommend this tv to anyone.
This TV sounded so great but we were disappointed. The sound is terrible. You can't hear the voices unless you run it though the surround sound. The 4k ultra is only used if you pay for it through Direct TV. They only have a couple channels. The remote is very cheaply made and limited what you can do with it. To get 4k in video you have to have a DVR plus 4k and is over 200.00.
It's just to difficult/inconvenient use. You can't even access the settings with the physical remote they supply you. No coaxial cable for Digital tuning. The picture was just okay, compared to a regular 1080p tv not to impressive. If you just wanna large computer monitor/("home theater display") lol this is the right buy for you.
I bought this TV online on BF thinking it was such a deal, BOY was I wrong. Smart CAST, NOT Smart TV. You can only put items from your mobile devise on the tv, and since I don't watch tv from my phone, it is useless. Plus, not to mention that Amazon Prime no longer works on Vizio Products! Picture is not that great as well!
Bought this online on Thanksgiving. Once we received it and installed it we realized it did not have the tuner for actual tv. If you don't have cable or a satellite service this product is worthless. We use local channels and stream but we could even hook up an antenna. There was nothing in the description that would warn you about this. Very disappointed. Returned it.
Just waiting for this one to go out like the other one. I already have a collection of tvs in my garage . You may ask why do I continue to buy VIZIO ? Because it’s cheap !! All these TVs today are made poorly .This way my wallet does not suffer too bad . I have read so many reviews of the back light going out on your TVs... make a better product and extend a warranty for 5 years not 2. Horrible
Unfortunately there is a defect in the screen. There are roughly eight hairline vertical lines of various colors about an inch from the left hand side of the screen running the length of the screen. I have contacted Vizio customer service and am awaiting a resolution but at this time I will not recommend this TV.
