My 5 year old great g'son is THRILLED with this set of animals and the mat they came with! He plays with them for hours at a time!! The animals are realistic to him, he loves that each one has its own habitat, and I love that the pieces are sturdy and will last for a long time!
Only 12 in the container so they were expensive for the number you received but they are nice quality.

Animals were not as good as I had hoped. No animal should have bright red eyes! Good size
This came opened I. A dirty container and items missing I wouldn't pay five dollars for something this cheaply put together in a store just awful.
