I know it seems like a lot of people don't like the bread and butter pickles but I think that they're actually really good and this is the only brand that I like of them I always like to have them on the side and just eat them by themselves with like a sandwich or something. these ones were really crunchy and really good flavor
First, the jar was less hard to open. The slices were much thicker than Gv or Mt Olive. Gave the pickles a thicker but still crunchy snap with a very different meatier experience. The flavor is perfectly balanced, not too sweet, not too spicey. There however appears to be more liquid vrs pickle in the jar which may be due to the thicker slices. The Mt Olive product has much smaller more uniform and more numerous slices, tightly packed in the jar. Looks like more product. The Gv product has a variety of various sizes and has a little more liquid than mt, olive. All in all, I am a fan of these Vlasics and their very different texture experience. The price difference is not that great between them to affect the choice. Sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you don't!
This brand is the best for pickle size. Other brands,in my opinion, have pickle slices that should have been thrown away.. you might pay a little more for this brand but definitely worth it. I really like pickles for sandwiches and these are the best. Taste is great too
These pickles are delicious and at a reasonable price too. There's nothing like a good burger with pickles on the side. Order them online at your own peril. I have lost two orders because somebody at UPS decided throwing the shipping box was a good idea. The resulting broken bottles caused the entire order to be cancelled. If you can buy them in store, do it. If they make it to your door safely when buying online, I highly recommend them!
The taste is good even with less sugar not over powering with a vinager taste. Crispness of the pickles are crunchy. Size of the pickle chips are nice. I'm not on a Keto diet, I just prefer less sugar in my daily diet. Side note, I use to consume Mrs. Flanagan bread and butter pickles along with Wal-Mart GV brand, I will say there is a taste difference because of the sugar difference. So, the Vlasic Keto pickles may not meet your taste. If you enjoy bread and butter pickles and eat them regularly but don't want the sugar content try these.
Wow! Im now addicted to pickles because these are the best I've ever had! Crunchy, fresh and delicious. I used to buy a different brand, not anymore!
I've used Vlasic Sweet Pickle Relish for decades, and have been satisfied with it. Lately, it's gotten too sweet (almost sickeningly sweet). Maybe it's just me, but I find myself using it less and less as time goes on. If you like candy sweet relish, then this is the relish for you.
I think they are pretty good. Eating the pickles straight from the jar I'd give the flavor a 7 out of 10, as I remember bread and butter pickles tasting a bit better when I was young. But they are still pretty yummy and they taste better in a sandwich. The pickles are nice and crunchy after you put them in the fridge for awhile. They're cut thick, so there isn't as many total pickles in the jar compared to the other brand, but I think these Vlasic pickles taste a little better in comparison.
This is duppose to be Bread and Butter pickles but it in no way taste like it. I was so disappointed in them. They tasted like dill with a twist of vinegar with a sprinkle of fake sugar. yes it tasted as bad as that sounds. I threw mine in the trash they were si bad. Don't know if there wasca problem in making of the puckle or if that is how they are suppose to taste. And i was so looking foward to one if the pickles..
WHY, WHY, WHY! They took one of the best pickles on the market and ruined them! Why would they add SUCRALOSE to a product that already contains High Fructose Corn Syrup? They're so concerned about artificial dyes and then add chemical garbage unnecessarily. What is wrong with these people? Over 50 years of using this product and now they've lost me. It's senseless to add this toxic waste to an already good product.
