I needed an inexpensive remote for my Google TV streamer for travel purposes. This one paired easily and worked with the streamer. One place we stayed used a sound bar and I didn't have time to figure that part out, so consider whether you will have to try to pair this chromecast remote with a TV and an external audio device.
My original remote would no longer arrow down. Tried a replacement from another online store and the remote was so cheap and low quality I sent it back. This one is high quality, indistinguishable from the original. Works very well. Hint: remember to un-pair your old remote before pairing the replacement.

I had to order a 2nd one because the first never showed up.
If this is for a replacement, I wouldn't recommend it. Find it somewhere else. My remote came with no microphone so I can't speak to talk. Also, sometimes I'll press a button and it doesn't input so I have to make sure to press down hard. But it does everything else I guess. At first, trying to connect it, my chromecast couldn't find the remote, 4 different times.
Poorly made knockoff. Buttons stick and rarely work. Plastic doesn't fit together well. This is garbage.
Very low quality, only marginally better than having no remote at all!
