Vornado 184 41" Whole Room Air Circulator Tower Fan with Remote Control Timer, Black

The Vornado V-Flow Tower Circulates air throughout the room without blowing it directly at a targeted area. It work best when placed in a corner and has the amazing ability to keep the air circulating throughout the entire room. I would highly recommend it to any of my friends.

I researched and tried many others and this one was the one I picked. The features and warranty are what sold me. Fans in this class generally have a warranty of one year or less. Vornado is 5 years. I also like how powerful it is. It's a little loud on the highest setting, but it really moves the air and cools the room it's in. I highly recommend this model.

The Vornado fan circulates air really well. It does a great job cooling down my room.

The four speeds of the fan fit every situation well. Even at the lowest setting, it still provides a quiet breeze for sleeping or lounging. Very happy with it.

Our dining room has a large west window that allows the afternoon sun to really heat up the dining room/kitchen, even after installing reflective film and heavy drapes. We both work and program the thermostat to go to 80F during the day. The AC will not bring the house temp down until after sundown, but the Vornado makes this area much more comfortable. It has allowed us to enjoy our kitchen while still saving AC dollars.

I purchased this vornado for my Dad who is a senior citizen. It was not operating correctly and he misplaced the receipt. I called vornado and got the most awesome service. I spoke to Harold Wray who is not only knowledgeable but well spoken. He instructed me on how to get a replacement. Im in Canada and he was in the States. Within 2 days I received a new vornado. Talk about customer service!!!!! This is somewhat of a rarity these days.

I have been a Vorando owner for years now. I have always acquired the whole room circulators similar to the current 773 model. I have never had problems with them, they are very effective and most importantly, on lower speeds are very quiet. They are also very well made and stand up to many years of use. I then bought the new full-size tower circulator, model 184, recently for a new small conference room we have here at work. It also is very effective in airflow, but is loud. Even on low speed it rattles like cheap plastic, which basically is what it is made of. It does not feel heavy duty like the other models I mentioned. I cannot use this in the small conference room, especially when customers are in there with our engineering staff. I would NOT recommend the full-size tower to anyone who wants to have a quiet operating unit. Get the current model 773 instead. Our Model 184 is now relegated to the waiting room, but still only on low speeds. First time I have ever been disappointed in a Vornado product.

I purchased two of what I had expected to be the best fan that I have ever purchased. They were certainly the most expensive fan that I had purchased to date. The first one broke within 5 or so hours of operation. The second one broke after a year of fairly light use. I imagine that there was some design defect in this model that caused them to break, but I will probably never buy a Vornado product ever again.

I bought this fan thinking it will work well but I was wrong. If I want to feel any air movement I have to practically have it sitting in front of me. I always have it on high and still I don't sense much air movement. I have a Seville fan in my bedroom which was way cheaper and works far better than the Vornado. I would have taken it back but . I no longer had the box or the receipt. Very disappointed in this fan and have told everyone I know.
