Vornado 270 Flat Panel Whole Room Air Circulator Fan, 14.75" Height (New)

I hardly have to run my air conditioner at all. The large platform the fan is housed on can sit in a window. It also moves and mixes air when it is positioned in front of the window air conditioner unit. I run The Rabbit air filter/purifier also and for it to work well the whole room needs to be moving air so it can be captured by the air purifier and be screened.

The large panel whole room circulator works great in our cathedral ceiling living room, sends air all over the room. Even on low speed we feel air flow and it is quiet. This is a great fan for us. I like the controls on top of the unit.

We had bought a smaller Vornado for our son's room and we were so impressed that we had to get one for the living room. If you have it up on high, you can definitely hear it, but it's still better than the average fan. On low, you wouldn't even know it's on if you didn't feel the air. It's incredible how much air it pushes through! Now we're looking into Vornado space heaters with winter coming up. We have a room that doesn't have any air vents and will need something to provide warmth. We're definitely impressed with this brand.

This is my second vornado, fan Air conditioner does not circulate my air well so having one vornado near the air conditioning unit and another opposite room to move my cooled air around the entire apartment and into bed room helps a lot. My only complaint so loud! I must turn up tv a lit to cover the sound of air conditioning and 2 LOUD VORNADOS! Would be awesome if they were silent!

My wife likes this fan due to the amount of airflow it creates. The base is somewhat wide but it fits perfect on the shelf directly under the window sill, it pulls in a lot of cool air in the evening. The white noise it creates is constant (doesn't fluctuate) and helps to drown out the cows bellowing and the coyotes yapping. A little spendy but does seem to be a really nice fan, time will tell.

My A/C was out for 2 weeks, and this thing help keeping my place cool down a bit, it did what it said which is circulated the air in the room, it can't replace an A/C but still doing pretty good job for what it paid for

I had the same model for the last 8 years or so when it finally died bought the same model just updated this one seems to rattle a lot more then last one sometimes its the buttons and if you mess with them it will stop other times you can't find the source got my last one (which didn't rattle) for 50 this one was 90 so a little disappointing there. But other then that great fan moves a ton of air noiser then older models

This Vornado large room fan really moves the air! The sound is quite loud on high, but on low sound is much more pleasant! Beeps when turning on and changing the fan speed are a bit annoying, but I do not see a way to turn off the beeping. I bought 2 of these for multiple rooms.

This fan is a nice medium sized fan. It is pretty high powered. Can be moved around from window to floor. Moves the air around good.

I cant believe I was willing to spend that much money on a fan that literally does nothing more other then make more noise. You want to move air around buy an oscillating fan. This ones for the birds. Sorry Vornado
