Vornado 4-Speed Alexa-Enabled Whole Room Circulator Fan

I've had the 660 model air circulator for about 2 years now but recently decided to get a 2nd one for a different level of my townhome. Looked into it here on the official website…lo & behold there was an Alexa Enabled version. Since Alexa is my Personal Assistant, I was instantly sold. I love the fact that I can be in my bed and tell my “P.A.” to turn the fan off or on. This thing is a necessity for me, as I am a hot sleeper. I used to sleep with it blowing directly on me but have recently found it works better as it's intended; I put it in a corner of my bedroom and you can tell it's actually circulating the air because the curtains on the opposite side of the room show movement. This thing is awesome!!!

This is my second Vornado fan. I ordered it directly from their website and received it on 3 days. It is so quiet and really works great. They last forever too. Money well spent!

I used to turn on the fan before getting on my Peloton - often shivering from how cold it was for the first 5 minutes - not anymore! Now once I start working up a sweat, I tell Alex "turn on my fan" and it roars to life. Really great addition for anyone who wants a fan in their home gym, especially Peloton riders.

I have had this fan running in my bedroom non stop for 14 years!!! It just went to sleep and I will buy another one today!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Setting up the fan with Alexa was super quick and easy, I thought I would spend a lot of time trying to sync the fan and it took less than 10 minutes, probably even less than 5. I was worried that I would not have buttons to control the fan and only have my Alexa to turn it off and on or high and low but there are buttons at the top. I would still like a remote control. In terms of how well it works to cool down a room, it hasn't been hot enough but for the time being it works very well in normal 70° heat. Overall, easy to set up and use with Alexa and does a great job cooling down a large room.

I live in Texas, and the heat gets pretty brutal at times. This gives out cool air and the air circulation is great. I love that I can control it easily with my Alexa. Overall great quality!

It runs silent when used on a lower setting if you are looking for a good air circulator this would be the one. It keeps a room nice cool.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family had a Vornado Vfan when I was a kid and it was amazing so when I had the opportunity to try ther Vornado 660 AE Large Air Circulator with Alexa I went for it!. First off this is a powerful fan for the size. The aperture for the airflow is about 11.5 inches and it pushes air equivalent to a much larger fan. Setting up the fan on the Alexa app was super easy, once you have the App installed just open the Alexa App and either search for Vornado or choose fan from the list. Scan the barcode and let the App find the fan. Finally enter the information for the wifi network you want it installed on and the app does the rest. As for use/power we used it in our living room which is 15x22 and this single fan from one side of the room normalized the temperature all over in about 25 minutes or so. You could feel the flow very well from any point int the room but not so strongly it was annoying. My final thoughts are that the 660 AE from Vornado is a continuation and improvement on the Vfan I remember as a kid. This will be getting daily use here in Florida!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Vornado is so nice! I LOVE the fact that I can connect it to my Alexa and have control over it that way. It's so amazing. Now as far as the way it feels is so close to having AC. Its not a normal fan as some may think its not taking that hot air and just moving it around you are actually feeling a coolness. I use my in my garage and it feels so good. I can actually enjoy doing something in there now without sweating and being so hot. I will strongly recommend this to anyone especially my family and friends. This may be someone's gift I buy them for Christmas this year!
