Vornado 753 Large Whole Room Air Circulator

This is my second one (previous one is a very similar Vornado fan). My wife and I use it for "white noise" when we sleep at night (or for naps), so it gets about 8 hrs. a day usage, and has lasted many years (old one still works, except at a lower speed the bearings (?)k make a noise showing wear). I expect the new one to have a similar excellent reliability. Works perfectly, good sound, and is reliable.

I've had a Tornado 630 for many years, & it's still going strong. I've used this 753 a few times since purchase, & it easily pushes air the length of my 50' mobile home on Medium speed, & it's quiet. Actually the low speed works well too. I love Vornado fans!

Waited for this to be back in stock. Already had one. Does an excellent job moving air. At high speed this unit provides enough white noise to keep my Golden Retrievers from going crazy when racoons come on my porch. When I worked night shift it helped ensure good sleep during noisy days. The mechanical switch type keeps the fan working steadily even when the AC power fluctuates (as opposed to the multiple push button type switch where the fan doesn't resume working if the power goes out briefly). Good quality.

I have bought 2 of your smaller fans for my bedrooms. They do a great job of moving the air and making it comfortable. This fan goes in my larger studio and also performs well and is quiet, too.

Going into this I did not have high hopes. I'll be honest I bought this seeing a video on TikTok and someone commented to check out the Vornado. I bought it without hesitation for my kids and have not found myself moving it from room to room. My family requires an air purifier though and now I'm looking at Vornado Air Purifiers and thinking if I should replace another popular brand I wont say.

Great products. I have almost exclusively purchased Vornado fans, and when I have purchased others, I have been disappointed with the quality or how long they last. Vornado is great and the retro series is very cool. They are a little pricey, but WORTH every cent.

Been using this brand for years. Just buy it. Like another reviewer said, What company provides a 5 year warranty on a fan unless the fan is worth it. I can tell you it is. If your house is really hot, it's just going to move hot air. It's NOT an AC but if you want to get the Air flowing and can add in a cooler air source like an open window or portable AC unit you will definitely feel a nice cool breeze with this unit. 2 in a room will circulate the air in rotation and make it feel cooler than it actually is. This is one of their best units. I wish it were a bit heavier as it can fall over if on a stand and bumped. I have 5 in all. Two of these, 2 of the larger Units that come with a 2-3 foot adjustable stand and a smaller unit that looks like this one. I have a portable AC and use these throughout the house to help circulate the cool air. I keep them on nearly 365 days a year. In the winter I don't like hot stale heater air so will run 1-2 fans to circulate the air. It can get drafty and these fans will cool it down inside if the air is cool. So often in the spring or winter when temps outside are in the 60's I only run these. No heater or AC needed. One of the larger unit ls in my main living room has been running for nearly 3 years straight and has never wavered. Still sounds and blows like it did when it came out of the box. Their units require very little Maintenance. You should blow out any dust but I don't do anything else. If it stops within 5 years I'll use the warranty. After that and I'll just buy another. 5 years is a great shelf life for a unit that you run every day of the year.

I bought this as I saw it listed in the New York Times as a very good device. I have no air system in my basement and needed something to keep the air from being stale. I meets my needs and the place feels cool even in this summer weather. I am thinking of getting one for my son's new apartment.

Purchased with high expectations from previous vornado products for many years. This particular unit's motor burned out within a week. VERY DISAPPOINTED!
