Vornado 783DC Energy Smart Full-Size Air Circulator Fan with Variable Speed Control and Adjustable Height

I bought this a month ago, I am happy with the product, it keep my room cool. So far I don't have to turn on the air conditioner, also I have used the smaller vornado fan. I've had one of these for more than a year. We purchased two additional ones because we like them so much. The power draw can be turned down to ~ watts, but it can be turned up high enough to circulate the air in a large room. We use it without A/C during peak periods, with A/C when needed, and even to help clothes hang dry.

This is a second purchase of the same fan. Speed dial controls the air flow, we like a little air circulation in the summer when we sleep and the dial in a low setting makes it whisper quiet for a good night sleep.

I purchased this fan a months ago in preparation for summer, I have multiple fans in my main living area that is open to the second floor and is an open concept but with so many windows my AC can not keep it cool. Thus far it is mid April, I have shut off the other fans and my new Vornado circulate the air through the room so effectively that my AC has only kicked on once.

I really love this circulator. It's my second 783DC and the difference is clear. It was hard convincing hubby to go with the 2 large circulators but I felt veryyyyy vindicated today when he said "hmmmmm, it seems these will actually have us using the AC less this summer" . Needless to say I was as pleased as punch. I also have the smaller version and I'm seriously thinking of getting another smart large air circulator. Thank you and I love the warranty period. It's quiet and works better than expected. Love that there are not 3 different speeds, but a dial that allows you to increase or decrease speed. Cools like an air conditioner

I bought this fan a month ago. My first thought was, "let's see what this fan can do?" Boy.... this fan cools the entire area down. Unfortunately I don't have a AC in my house and when cooking the house is extremely hot especially during a heatwave. I already have a fan window from Vornado but when cooking during a heatwave it's not enough. So I purchased this additional fan and it really cools the kitchen down. You still might sweat a bit but your still cool enough to move around and not feel exhausted!

A great fan/air Circulator! This is my 3rd Vornado. I bought my first one 30 years ago. It still works but the on/off knob was accidentally completely broken off. A replacement part is no longer available so they honored their Warranty and gave me a huge discount on a new model. The Company as well as their products are GREAT!

This is my third Vornado purchase. I have two other DC air circulators in medium but I wanted something for my living room that pushes out a little more air. I use these Vornados as fans—not really as air circulators. I direct the air flow directly at me and they are positioned within 3-8 feet directly from my bed or chair. I still use my ceiling fans, too. This lets me keep my AC at 84, even in this 100 degree Texas heat.

I have had Vornado air circulators for over 15 years now. Not only do they run forever but if they do break down the company backs them 100% with either replacement or repair. They even once did that with a fan I had out of warranty. I have two fans and one heater. Love their products and this company.
