Exactly what I wanted to keep my hydroponic lettuce cool, while they are growing in my laundry room. If one can call a fan adorable, this one fits the description. It has been on 24/7 for a month and so far no issues.

You have to strain to hear the TV!I turned every fan on in the display and pick the quieter one, that would be the Helix 2 Personal Oscillating Tower Fan is the one that I found that it was the quietest, the best designed tower! So quiet will not hear it running and the controls are on top of the tower built into the design! I most like that is a personal fan and it is all mine! My husband complains that it is cold and I am always hot! Great product ,Great Company!

Let me being by telling you that I live in L.A., and it gets H.O.T., but due to severe migraines, I don't use an air conditioner. It is brutal on my head. The Helix couldn't be more perfect for someone like me! Start with the sleek, stylish unit itself - it's unique and beautiful, and can fit into ANY decor. Now the BEST part, the fan - it is a very gentle "breeze" almost. Since this is now in my office, I don't need a fan that pushes my papers everywhere, dries my eyes out, etc. The Helix is VERY effective at cooling the space down without being obnoxious about it. I am in fan love with the Helix!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just can't say enough how much I love this Helix 2 personal tower fan, first of all it is whisper quiet which is awesome and it doesn't look like it would move the air that much cause it's so small but it really does a great job!! Perfect for my desk at work. This little fan is small but mighty!!

Fan is making some scraping noise as if the fan blade is scraping something. Going to return this one and reorder

I really liked the size of this fan and that it isolates, BUT even though it is not used daily, when i do use it, it is noisy with the back and forth. so much so I can hear it from about 15 ft away. my co-worker has the same fan. it is as quiet as a mouse! the luck of the drawl, i guess.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For a Vornado it's not very powerful. You cant feel anything coming from it if you stand a few feet away. Also there is a slight humming sound coming from it that can be quiet annoying. There is 3 settings for this device Low Medium and High. To feel anything I have to keep it on High the other speeds are quiet ineffective. The Buttons are on the top and are very hard to see. That being said this fan is sleek and quite attractive. And would work on a desk if your needing a little bit of air while working on your computer.

We have purchased a number of Vornado fans for their quiet, dependable operation. Stay away from the Helix2. We bought two of these fans from different locations. Both fans operate the same - - loud, noisy, squeals during operation, and at times sounds like a piece of plastic gets stuck on the fan blades. Not quiet at all, and difficult to use when trying to sleep or focus on tasks.
