Love it. Very powerful little fan. It's on my desk at home and I use it while I'm working. On the high setting, while on calls, my microphone picks up the noise, however, on the lower settings, it's fine. I love how adjustable it is and I like the style. Doesn't look cheesy
Fantastic fan, like all Vornado products. I've been a loyal customer of Vornado fans for over 10 years and they surely don't disappoint. This particular model is exactly what I needed with the multi-surface mount feature and it is working exactly as expected.
The fan is great. All three speeds are as quiet as you can expect, while still moving a comfortable amount of air. The swivel leaves something to be desired. The desk clamp is sturdy enough and holds the fan in place, but when trying to adjust the orientation, the grips on the clamp twist along with the part that is meant to twist. It is functional, but a bit of a pain to have to hold the clamp in place while also adjusting the fan. Overall it was a good purchase. It saves space on an already cramped desk by clipping to the edge, rather than sitting on top. The fan itself is the quality I would expect from Vornado. The biggest area of improvement would be the swivel. If they could include some bearings or something to make it twist a bit more smoothly and easily, it would be a 5 star product.
The looks of it i like. Compact, simple yet somewhat aggressive looking like it would move a ton of air....thats the extent of it though. For the price and the amount of noise it makes on high for little fan, you would imagine it move a lot of air but it really really doesn't. I have a small 5ish year old clip fan that is maybe a half inch bigger than this that has two speeds and on the low speed moves more air than this Vornado set on high with slightly less noise.
Fan did not blow much air. We had it on my daughters bed footboard and we had to use high speed for her to even feel it, and then it was pretty loud. Medium and low speeds couldn't be felt. The box says it's an air circulator, it does not say fan. Maybe it's supposed to do something different than blow air? This might be ok if you are within 3ft or right next to it and don't want to feel much wind. We bought a regular old Lasko clip on fan and it blew much more air and very quiet.
Life long Voronado customer hand multiple fans and humidifiers in west Texas. They all worked well. This was bought with the hope of the same output cooling performance. This fan has very low draw and very low cooling performance. I would relook at the design and the air output. It was rather disappointing given the name and reputation Voronado has.
Maybe this is just a klunder from Vornado because almost everything I've seen for the brand is positive. This thing is garbage though. I have a cheap generic usb fan the same diameter as this that moves way more air and is next to silent that cost 1/4 what this fan does. This one isn't super loud but it sounds like it should move a lot of air but just creates a slight breeze is a very limited area directly in front of it.
I like the fan but have not been able to use it. It had a plastic/chemical smell. I've been running it almost constantly for a week and the odor has dissipated a bit but not completely. I hope that eventually the smell will go away and I'll be able to use the fan.
Wish I could give a “negative” five stars. It's so small that you can barely feel any breeze at all, even with your face just a few inches away. Not sure why anyone would buy this? Valuable lesson here: Don't ever buy a fan (or “circulator”) online, just like you should never buy shoes or eyeglasses online. You need to feel it yourself, in-person, to make sure you're not getting ripped off.
Delivery was confirmed for the morning, but then received a message that delivery could not be done and products were returned to the store... and I didn't hear anything until I called in the evening. The lady told me they would be delivering that same evening at 9pm, which didn't happen. I waited all day next day an nothing, and then called again in the evening, the representative placed and cancelled several orders until he was able to delivery the products that same evening. I'm still waiting for the mess of credit card charges and credits to clear. A lot of time wasted on the phone, products arrived late and still not sure if the credit card charges will be correct.
