Vornado PVH Whole Room Panel Vortex Heater

The Bathroom in our Master Bedroom is rather large and a little chilly at times. We bought this to take the chill out of the room and it works very well. Very quiet and keeps the room at a constant temp when we're in there. Very good value for the low price and I'd recommend anyone purchase it. In fact, we're going to purchase another one to use in our large combined bedroom/office so we can keep the central heat turned off at night and just use this unit to keep the room comfortable and save money on our utility bill. Just set it at the temp that is comfortable to you and it will keep that temp without having the problem many other heaters have by allowing the temp to drop down to an uncomfortable range before it kicks back on. This is fast and efficient.

I had bought another heater, thinking bigger is better, boy was i wrong, not only poor performance but NOISY!!, took it back and got this VORNADO, not only is it quiet, had to put in adjoining room, not because too hot , because it literally creates a mini cyclone in the house!! and once all air is warm (be patient) its as good as any forced air furnace, FYI, two rooms i'm heating are 10x12 and 15x20

Often, even a good product loses value because so little information is enclosed with the product. I have 2 other Vornado heaters that need replacement after many years of service. This unit is excellent, especially since the information enclosed explained what to expect. My older units had glowing coils and while this one does not, the enclosed information advised that the the heater provides 122 degree air, about the same as a standard home heating system. The design is quite remarkable. If the unit has light behind it, you can see the large amount of open venting allowing a superb air flow to the fan and its Vortex design to disperse the air efficiently. Controls allow for 750 watt or 1500 watt heating with temperature control. The unit is exceptionally quiet and does its job without bothering anyone in the room.

This is a great heater and by far the best heater I have ever owned. I live in a basement apartment and I do not have central heat or air. So I rely totally on space heaters in the winter. I bought this heater having never really hearing of this company before(Vornado). I am very impressed, it is not just a space heater, it is a whole room heater. I live in a small 2 bedroom apartment about 900 sq ft and I can wake up in the morning,the apartment cold as all get out, and turn this heater on high and in no time my whole apartment is warm. Its like I have central heat. On low setting the air feels a little cool to me, on high though the air is very warm and plenty of it as well. It has a sensitive Thermostat and I like the lighted on/off switch so at a glance I can tell as I am leaving if I have left the heater on or not. Also has safety tip over switch. I thought at first that 59.99 seemed a little high,but it is worth more than that and I am so glad I bought this heater.

I have owned Vortex fans since 1999, and their still running perfectly! So, when I saw the heater, I knew it would be just as awesome as the fans are. And, it is!!! This is truly an awesome heater!!! It warms the room better than a regular wall heater. Love the thermostat, it actually works! I can go to sleep at night, and not have to worry about the heater running, it will shut off once the room reaches the selected temperature. I've never seen a heater like this before, EVER! I highly recommend this product.

So far so good. Just purchased this about a week ago. Love it so far !!! Really does circulate through the whole room :) Hasn't gotten down to the 30's though but i am not predicting a problem. Once room temp has reached the desired warmth, i turn it down to 5 and it maintains that temp !!! Too soon to tell how Energy efficient it is.....keeping fingers crossed :)

I purchased this product in hopes of lower my fuel oil bill this year. So far I am please with the way it keeps a room warm. I can place in one room and it does as promised...keeps the entire room warm. There has been times where I have had to turn the temp down because the room was too warm.

JUST KEEPING A SPARE BEDROOM WARM TO KEEP IT FROM MILDEWING AND GETTING THAT "OLD SMELL". ROOM IS 12 X 12. AFTER UNIT RUNS A SHORT WHILE ON 4 (GOES TO 7), THE POWER CORD GETS WARM. NOT HOT, BUT WARM. DOES A GREAT JOB OTHER THAN THAT. BUT REALLY, THE CORD SHOULD NOT GET WARM, IN MY OPINION. KINDA MAKES YOU A LITTLE NERVOUS ABOUT THIS PRODUCT. COMES WITH A 5 YEAR "LIMITED" WARRANTY PER PAPERWORK INCLUDED.

I purchased this heater for my husband to use to heat the garage, which we recently sealed off from any outside cold/wind getting in thru garage doors. We have no direct heat coming into the garage from the house, and I read some online blogs about heating it this way. This is a good little heater, and in a much smaller area, like a small office, it would do great. But, it doesn't heat the garage at all. It did however do a great job drying out all our rain/snow gear a few weeks ago during the South East Snowmaggeddon. I will be returning it and purchasing a stronger, bigger, more expensive heater for the garage, though, because unfortunately this little one didn't do what we needed it to. Hope this helps.

I bought this heater for my spare room where I do sewing and crafts, this heater took most of the day to warm up the room to where I could work without my fingers freezing, no I would not recommend this item. I am returning it to the store.
