Vornado Silver Swan Vintage Oscillating Fan, 17", Brushed Nickel (New)

My boyfriend and I have been together for 6 years. When we got together, he had a fan that he had for about 3 years at the time. He has used this fan DAILY for ALMOST A DECADE! It was so old and dusty, I was like, let's just get a new one. I looked it up and it was THIS fan. I was a little sticker shocked but it's an incredible fan and could have definitely lasted over a decade! The only down side is - it makes a clicking noise sometimes. You just have to move it a little and it will stop. A small price to pay for a reliable, high quality fan!

I PURCHASED THIS FAN FOR THE BEDROOM AT NIGHT TO ADD SOME EXTRA AIRFLOW AS I AM SLEEPING BECAUSE I DO NOT WANT TO KEEP TURNING THE A/C DOWN AND THE CEILING FAN CANNOT BE TOO HIGH AS IT MAKES OUR PUPS COLD. THIS FAN IS EXACTLY WHAT I NEEDED TO HELP ME STAY COOL ON NIGHTS WHEN MY BODY HAS TROUBLE COOLING ITSELF DOWN.

Very sleek and retro looking fan that also works very well in mid size rooms. Fan still works well a month after purchase!

I love the Silver Swan fan. This is my second one—the first one I purchased is at my office; this second one is for my home. It looks great, is sturdy, effective, not very loud. Easy to move around, which I often do. I also like that you can remove the grill to clean the blades, which do get dirty, especially with two fuzzy cats in the house. Just a great fan.

This fan is the most beautiful modern day fan ive ever bought it is so quiet and it even looks better then the original silver swan. I hope Vornado brings back another classic antique fan design. I highly recommend this product if you like antique retro fan designs.

I bought two of these fans to get me through the interim period, before AC was really necessary. After receiving the first one, and seeing it perform, I had to order a second one for my guest bedroom. Can't deny my guests. And, when I turn it to the high setting, it will literally, blow the sheets off the bed.

Love the retro look and metal construction. Sharp and solid. Works really well and quietly moves a lot of air. Only reason it isn't 5-stars is the super flimsy plastic on/off/speed switch. I'm worried it's going to snap off every time I turn it.

More power than my Hunter “Century”. I use both. The Vornado is excellent circulation..low setting is more than powerful. The negative is the plastic band around the cage (Hunter uses an aluminum band with an adjustable screw!). If Vornado changed that one thing ...it would be unmatched.

VERY loud and rattles terribly. I'm used to fans shaking and making noise but this one was awful on any speed setting and on botj stationary and oscillating. Buy a different fan
