The last time I bought replacement 40v batteries for my Ryobi power head they did not fit the battery slot properly. I had to use a dead-blow mallet to remove them! These batteries are a perfect replacement for Ryobi 40v batteries. They arrived fully charged and hold their charge well. I highly recommend them
I was scared to buy these batteries because they were not the same as the ones in the tool, but the batteries are working the same as the original battery.
These batteries work and charge the same as the OEM Ryobi‘s I have. I've had no problems at all, using them and charging them. I haven't used them that much and I've only had them a week, but so far but I'm very pleased. To work as good as OEM Ryobi at 20% of the cost, well, I had my doubts, but no longer. I really don't care even if the Ah don't last as long as original Ryobi‘s. But so far my experience says maybe they will. Anyway, I'm very happy with these Batteries and the purchase.
The part was what I wanted. The order process was another story. I saw the wrong address was selected so I selected the correct address and it still sent to the wrong address. Was difficult to talk to any help to get it canceled. He thought it was but it still was delivered. 2 weeks and still waiting for a refund.
I bought these to fit my ryobi weed-whackerand leaf blower. The batteries went in just fine. I can not get them out to recharge. They did not run as long as the original batteries but did well. I would give them 5 starts if they were not stuck in the machines.
The battery arrived on time and fits properly in both my mower and the charger. However, the release design is frustrating. The button itself is in the correct position, but the part you have to push to release the battery is located in the center instead of at the top. This makes it harder to press when trying to remove the battery from the mower or the charger. Because of this design, removing the battery feels awkward and takes more effort than it should. It would be much easier if the push point were on the top where it's more accessible. I have not tested the battery power or run time yet, but the release design is definitely a downside.
Worked great for a few weeks now I can't get them to charge but they payed for themselves so I'm not mad
bought due to my batteries that came with my 5 year old mower were not holding charge as long so I bought these but my old batteries hold charger and last a lot longer than there batteries do
I bought 2 of these in Feb 2026. One of them stopped working shortly after the purchase. The other stopped working 4 months later. Won't charge and won't run the trimmer. Useless.
Advertised as 6ah batteries, these aren't even close to that. A real 6ah battery would run my mower for almost an hour. These only last about 10 minutes.
