it will get a bucket of water hot as can be in 2 minutes it works great for a hot tub so I bet it would work great for a pool just make sure you unplug it before you get in the water but it's worth the 26 bucks

Heats up as it should just be patient
Takes around 12 hours for a small pool but it will keep on heating until you have a jacuzzi. From 55°f to 100°f a day later

Works great
This worked great to help heat up our inflatable hot tub. The hot tub heater is sooooo slow so we tried this in addition to the heater that came with the hot tub. I was shocked given this is advertised to heat up a bucket of water but there was a noticeable difference in the time it took to heat up the hot tub. Less than half the time.

I had high hopes for this but it really only works for a few gallon buckets. and you have to pull it out or unplug it to check the water. I'm keeping it but figured out what it's good for yet.
