Monitor is used to make it easier for my mother's caregivers to take care of her at night. They always hear when she gets up. They can assist and it makes for a safer night.

We've only had the cameras and monitor for a few weeks and our baby hasn't made their arrival yet, but I can speak to the fact that this was incredibly easy to install, the monitor is large and very easy to navigate. The app works great! And there is very little lag time (<1 second) even over WiFi! My husband and I are very impressed so far with the quality of the camera images both on our phones and the monitor and the night mode seems to work well too! We love that it has its own little night light and sounds that play from the monitor. We haven't really gotten feedback on how well it will pick up baby sounds yet, obviously! But it picked up us speaking softly to each other through it, so I think it will transmit sound well. Compared to a random brand Amazon monitor that I'd originally ordered that literally never even connected to the camera, the VTech setup was a breeze and has been such a wonderful experience! I definitely recommend this based on just our initial impressions! I know that if I don't write a review now, I never will. So I decided to go ahead and just say, if you're looking for a great quality product, which is quite affordable, reliable, and easy to operate, this is it! I personally love having the ability to have both the monitor and the app with WiFi. It's nice that we don't have to keep an app opened since we'll have the handheld. But also convenient that we can pull up the app if one of us is not home with the baby. One thing I will say, is that if two people are going to have the app on their phone, you have to log in to the same account on both phones. My husband and I both tried to install the app and make accounts but realized that the cameras will only stay attached to one account that is logged on across multiple devices. Just an FYI! It's no big deal, but we were a little confused at first with how to make it work across two accounts.

Love this monitor!

Works well, easy to use

This is a nice set up but cant seem to get both cameras showing on phone. Its perfect for my daughter to watch my granddaughter when taking a nap or playing. Also when she is at work and baby is with hubby or babysitter. she can peek in and see her playing. Makes her feel like she isn't missing out on so much.

Not a bad unit for daytime use but the nighttime imaging is not good. You can barely figure out what is happening in the video, just some shadow movement. We purchased it to monitor our loved one with dementia, who frequently gets sundowners at night and tries to get out of bed (can't walk) but, with this camera, it's impossible to tell if they are trying to get out or just turning in bed. They even fell out of bed once because we weren't able to see what was happening.

Picture blurry, not a good range, stand in a really weird spot for such a big monitor, it falls over all the time. Item was returned

Look over any products that are sent by this company. Some of the contents like the camera lenses weren't even wrapped. It was really disappointing, but I should've figured with the low price.
