VTech BC8211 Myla the Monkey Portable Sound Machine Baby Soother

My baby will be crying, as soon as I turn this one along with putting her soother in her mouth, she calms right down. She loves white noise. It lasts a while, I just wish we could use it while it was plugged in charging because it doesn't work while its plugged in.

love our monkey . 6 years and still working! the battery did go a few months back and needs to be plugged in to run all night but still an amaing product that ran all night every night for the last 6 years 😊 just ordered a new one too

Love this. Music very calming for baby.

We already have one of these musical monkeys. Weve used it with our granddaughter for naps and night time for over two and a half years. Her parents use one too. It helps make her sleeping environment more familiar besides blocking noises that could wake her. We bought two more. One for her new baby brother and one as an emergency backup.

my daughter absolutely loved it. Bought it in 2022. Now using it for my new born son and he loves it too. So it's an amazing sound machine for me although the sounds and features are limited and not as many as a lot of sound machines have these days

I really liked this product, VTech is usually always superb quality, but I just can't give it stars because of the battery life. this is probably my fault for not utilizing the timer function on it more often, but it is still disappointing that it only lasts for a few hours at most from a full charge before the battery runs out. This may also depend how high or low you have the volume, too. it could affect battery usage. but anyway, I would still highly reccomend the product and suggest you buy it, but just be aware that you will have to either be okay with charging it very frequently, use it while its plugged in, or else just use the timer setting and hope your baby is okay with/wont wake up if the music or white noise suddenly stops playing when the timer goes off. Other music boxes I have used with my kids have lasted a lot longer than this after a full charge which is why I am a bit dissappinted but I dont mind too much. just a minor workaround.

Decent sound machine for the price. It has a repetitive ‘skip' in the sound track for the white noise which is the only noise we use on it. The skip frustrated me at first but I've come to ignore it since we use this at one side of baby's room and have another better machine at the other side of room.

The battery life could be way better.

We really liked this musical soother for our first son. After two years e couldn't charge it anymore because the charging cable would feel ''loose'' in the port. We bought a second one for our second child and the same problem happened within less than a year... pretty disappointing! VTech suggested we buy a new cable but the problem really comes from the monkey and not the cable.

The charger wire had electrical outage it no longer works
