Vtech Digital Video Monitor with Remote Access, 5", RM5764HD

The picture is good quality and there are a ton of cool features that I wouldn't have expected. Real slick look, as well. I guess my ONLY complaint is that the tablet could be touchscreen!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great Vtech monitoring system. I love it and I am very amazed by its features. The camera can shows me everything in my daughter room left, right, up and down which is a plus. The picture is very clear on my 5" HD monitor, on my app and even on night vision mode I can clearly see my baby girl which I am very impressed with. The live stream on the app was very easy to set up. You have to enable the wifi on the monitor first to set it up correctly. The monitor is easy to maneuver and understand. The monitor also holds charge for a great time. I got the hang of everything the second day I used it including the live stream on the app. I like the melodies it takes me back to some childhood memories. This has sound detection which is another of my favorite features. I get a notification on my phone if any sound is triggered and I can hear everything unless I want to mute it. I am able to communicate with the camera through my HD monitor or my app. I love how this camera is portable and can be used anywhere. I use this to watch my puppy also when we leave the house which makes me happy knowing what he's doing when I am gone. I must admit I do like the app a tab bit more than the HD monitor only because I can screenshot and record what's going on if needed. The screen on the app do freeze sometimes but I think it's because my signal. Overall I am very impressed and pleased this exceeded my expectations.

The video quality is amazing, super clear picture and sound. I love that I can move the camera and see every inch of the room, very convenient. It's WiFi enabled and I can even keep an eye on my baby through an app on phone. It was easy to set up too.It's really just a perfect baby monitor. Must have for parents!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this for our grandbaby and we absolutely love the monitor. it's very nice to be able and watch the baby while you're in the other room. I've been using it for a few weeks now and it is incredible. Monitor screen is large and clear. I use this as a baby monitor. I am very pleased with the quality of video, makes it great when you have house chores, cooking or anything while the baby is napping and you can still keep a good eye on them while in a different room. This is the best out there for this price point. I would totally recommend this product.

I also love that it will play lullabys if he starts crying during nap time or at night. Overall it's a very nice large screen baby monitor. I will definitely be buying another camera!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The biggest detractor for me on this item is the app, both on smart phone and the monitor itself. It has a very old school look and feel and the notification triggers are very sensitive (annoying sound). The video is not the highest quality, particularly in dark environments. However, it is functional, it is useful given it doesn't require wi-fi to use the remote, and is easy to use and install. The software feels old, as it takes a while to load. Again, functional camera, nothing fancy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this VTech Digital Video Monitor for my 5 month old. He has recently started rolling over so I get concerned when I put him down to sleep. This monitor has been so helpful in making sure he is okay. I can here him if he is upset and also see him. When he is older this camera will be awesome in his playroom because this camera tracks movement so I can see him wherever he is in a room. I like that I can talk to him through the camera and play sounds to soothe him. Personally, I prefer using the monitor that came with it over using the phone app. The only thing I had hoped would be better is the nightvision. It is possible to see my son during the night but it is not clear at all. I have to rely more on the sounds he makes to really know that he is okay.
