Customer Insights: Rated 4.5/5 from 175 reviews.
This product was described very well on the website and works exactly as expected. Even the customer reviews were very helpful. The price seemed a little random, especially compared to other versions of this product. I would have wanted to pay less, having seen the other versions' pricing, but I am still happy with the purchase.
No video, but the audio options make it a really good buy for the money! Im using it for elderly parent who talks to herself AND sleeps with TV on, but this monitor lets you filter those out to only go off with her calling out to me! Otherwise, her other noises would keep me awake all night!
This is a great product. It has a nice range of service. I can hear clearly both sounds and voice. Baby Monitor end can hear me and clearly. We have a 5 bedroom home with two levels. I have put one parent monitor in the downstairs living room and the other parent monitor in the upstairs bedroom at the far end of the house. It works beautifully. Thanks for a great product.
I am very impressed with this item! I live with and care for my 89 year old dad. I can hear him so clearly when he needs me and I am at the other end of our home or outside feeding animals. Very clear, very dependable! Thank you
This monitor picks up sound nicely. It has a nice range. I appreciate it doesnt give any sound feedback when baby is quiet.
Purchased this to help with my father who has cancer. When he wakes up he just lets us know so we don't miss him and him just lay till we check on him again. The system works well in our house which is over 4,000 square feet. We take in the basement and around out side with no issues at all. Would recommend.
i got this so I can monitor my elderly mom at night. I hear her breathing, and can tell if it changes--and can lower/increas the volume, which is very convenient (esp. when she starts talking to the cat, lol). I don't know about the distance, but it covers one end of the house to the other, which is what I need. Previously I used it to monitor my dad when he was in home hospice--the home health attendants also found it invaluable.
We bought this baby monitor based on positive reviews but for our barn, which is 120 fet away, to avoid laying an audio cable for the CCTV cable we just bought (not wanting IP connections and just to monitor a goat pen). Very surprized at how clear the sound is and fine tuned as it seems to collect low sounds and present sudden louder ones all through effortless wireless - no set up and instant sound of chewing hay. Talk option (one of the things we wanted rather than video as we do have a CCTV analog camera) works as advertized, can if needed talk with someone in barn. Or puzzle the goats.
After getting the units and reading the instructions, it seemed a little overwhelming at first. Lots of adjustments and settings. So we have it set up (we think). Will start to use in a few days when my elderly mother-in-law comes to live with us. May update this later.
I really liked this set of monitors, until we had a power outage. Iâm remembering now that I only saw rechargable batteries for the 2 parent units. Now that weâve experienced a couple power outages, it become very apparent that the baby unit only plugs in to the wall. Not rechargable. And all 3 units become useless without power. Bummer. Otherwise, the sound quality is great. We live in a larger home, and have had no issues while having the baby unit in her room on one side of the house and a parent unit in my gym on the otherside of the house. And out of 4 babies, its had the best sound quality and lack of interference. The lack of a battery pack in the baby unit makes even our suoer poor quality older monitor from 12 years ago a better purchase when without power.
