It was very helpful with my frail mother. One in her room an other in our room. It has a night light too.
Caught this on sale for $20 and it has not disappointed. Our babies are on the second floor of our townhome and I get perfect reception while doing laundry in the basement. Battery life is good in the parent unit and audio is clear when talking to babies. Love it!
Great buy and good value for money. We live in a town house and wanted to monitor our baby when she is sleeping in the bedroom. This was of great help. Whenever my dd wakes up in the middle of nap wgen i amnot around she would cry. The speaker in ths handset helped me to pacify her before i could attend to her in person. Really of great help as i have to take care of her alone.it gives me peace of mind to work ehile she is asleep. Without this i found it vedy difficult to move away from her bed when she napped. Bonus is me abd my husband use it as an intercom to pass messages betwen 2 different levels
These sre great. I bought them to take to family's houses when we visit so that my son cam take a nap and i can still hear him without going upstairs every 20 minutes
I bought this one after the other model vtech baby monitor we got sucked. This one was perfect. Picks up the little sounds the baby makes when she wakes up. No more feeling guilty for not hearing her soon enough.
Use these all the time. The sound is great and I can talk through it like a walkie talkie. Battery doesnt last super long without needing to be plugged in. But its loud enough that u dont need it super close to you.
Happy with the sensitivity of it. I do wish the base stayed charged longer.
Bought this on a whim as my last monitor started cutting out after 5 years. Been using this for a few nights and over all i love it. Itâs really cute and has 5 sensitivity levels. So I no longer have to listen to all the background noise such as the ceiling fan in his room. It goes silent until he cries. The ânightlightâ isnât really bright enough to be a nightlight. More like a way to find the baby unit in the dark. But itâs cute. Two way talk works awesome. Also has a nice range Only thing I would love to be able to change is that the buttons beep every time you press them. I turn the monitor down when Iâm in the room with my baby so we donât wake my husband up. And the beeping is a little annoying. But overall I would definitely buy again!
I literally used these for a month and the receiving owl will only work when it is plugged into the wall. It will not hold a charge, so I can't take it with me throughout the house unless it is plugged in. This thing is junk. And just to be clear the monitor that stays in the child's room always has to be plugged in to work as it is not a charging unit which I am not to fond of either. Don't waste your money.
We have an older VTech monitor and you can hear everything on it. This one isn't as sensitive or loud. it's very soft and doesn't work all the time. Maybe we got a dud... returning!
