My three year old son is obsessed with flashlights, decided to look for a kid friendly one and landed on this one . My son loves it! It's perfect for toddlers and very easy to use. The colors aren't too bright but bright enough to make him feel like he's in control.

Got this for my toddler who kept wanting to make off with his Daddy's and big brothers' flashlights. He loves it. He hasn't stopped playing with it in 2 days! And I love VTech toys because they are so well made. I have even opened up “dead” toys, cleaned the connections, and reconnected wiring, etc… These toys just keep on giving. Buying VTech is always worth the extra couple of dollars. I recently got an unbranded toy for my son for his birthday and it literally died after five minutes out of the box (for no apparent reason). I opened it up and checked the wiring to try and fix it and was unable. Lesson learned: buy VTech! No, I am not a paid promoter. Just a Mom of 6 with lots of experience.

I can't stress what a great purchase this was. I was having issues changing my grandson, he would get fussy. I read to give them a flashlight and this was perfect. Less annoying than so many other musical toys. Vtech really produces quality items. This has many features and many songs including the “Entertainer” which I love. It keeps my little guy busy and can get him changed. It was the perfect size for a 7 month olds hands. He loves holding it and I am also going to purchase another one for my daughter who is due next month.

It is a birthday gift for our 1-year-old great nephew - hopefully he'll like it as much as we do! Very cute and simple to use. The sounds are nice - not too loud, buttons are easy to press/slide, the dial turns easily - great! Also, a very good value.

Fun, Educational, and Perfect for Toddlers! My kids love this flashlight! It's bright, colorful, and keeps them entertained for a long time. The buttons play fun songs and teach colors and numbers, and the spinning part adds an extra layer of excitement. Also has volume control button allowing two different volumes. %26 a level button allowing opportunity to grow with your little one. It's the perfect size for little hands to hold, and durable enough to handle drops and toddler play. Great for learning and playtime — definitely one of our favorite VTech toys!

If you love camping, this is something awesome to get your toddler/preschooler. There are so many fun sounds, prompts, and songs on this one flashlight! It's a great size for kids to carry with them to a tent in their backyard or their own bedroom! It would be great for sleepovers at relatives' houses as well. The light is comforting and the 'smiling flashlight' seems warm %26 safe. The prompts the flashlight gives are great ides for how to enjoy outdoor exploration, which of course helps lead to scientific knowledge and thinking. My toddler loves this flashlight, and I'm sure part of it is because it's so handy to hold and another part of it because it has so many 'tricks up its sleeves'. XD The spinning colors are fascinating to toddlers and can be used to introduce the scientific concept of light. This is the perfect 'activity helper' to take to the backyard, on a nature trail, in a forest--wherever you and your little one like to explore! The light is also comforting and helpful if you're going some place dark, such as when camping of if going into the mouth of a public cave. Vtech really impresses me a lot. Their product line is hardy, mostly affordable, and clever.

Bought this for our nephew for Christmas and he loves it, it kept him entertained for a good length of time, the colors, lights and sounds were fun but also educational and it was easy for him to be able to holding it by himself while playing. I'm planning on buying another for my newest grandson this Christmas. Highly recommend this toy for the littles!

My 3yr old daughter LOVES it. Needs a night mode for volume and brightness control for using late at night so she's not so awake. She wants it for comfort, but it's really extra and keeps her up sometimes. She's fallen asleep with it more than once and hums the songs. It's held up to her obsessively rotating the color change dial. Not sure how well it would do being thrown on hard floor, it needs rubber bumpers.

The old more simple version of this flashlight toy was sooo much better. Kids LOVE flashlights......but neither of my youngest kids liked this version. It's too busy. All the extra buttons and sounds are so unnecessary. I wish companies would stop ruining "old school" Good things trying to make them better....they aren't better All the extra's interfere with kids exploration and imaginative play......I think that's why my kids don't like this.
