VTech VM4261, 4.3" Digital Video Baby Monitor with Pan & Tilt Camera, Wide-Angle Lens and Standard Lens, White

I purchased the VTech VM4261, 4.3" Digital Video Baby Monitor with Pan %26 Tilt Camera for my ailing mother to keep an eye on her during the night. She was a fall risk and liked to get out of bed on her own. I cannot praise this product enough, as it alerted me when she was on the move. After a couple of days of adjustment for both of us, we were able to sleep through the night, knowing that if she needed me, I was there. This was my first digital monitor. I recommend it for anyone who needs to keep an eye on their loved ones. You cannot go wrong, and the price is superb.

It has a wide angle lense that helps me to see the whole room. My favorite feature of the baby monitor is the level sound indicator. It detects the slightest sound. This baby monitor has helped me so much with having peace of mind. It has night vision and it's so quiet when the camera moves. I sit back and enjoy my coffee while keeping an eye on both my babies from the monitor. This is a must have for babies and toddlers. You can speak to them through the monitor. My 3 years old talks back to me through the camera. From a mother of 2 under the age of 3. I highly recommend you buy it.

Having older children I've always only used traditional monitors that only allow you to hear baby and not see what is actually happening in the nursery. I had always wanted to try a video monitor so when my son was born I was excited to try the Vtech pan and tilt video monitor with wide angle lens. The monitor was easy to set up and I liked that you can choose between a standard lens and the wide angle lens. I also like that you can mount on the wall or place on nightstand. I chose to use the wide angle lens because you can clearly see all of my sons crib and most of his room. The parent unit is easy to use and very lightweight and has excellent picture. I love that it has night vision so I can see baby in the low light of his nightlight. I also love that I can talk to baby with the two way intercom feature. This is useful to assure baby that you hear them and are on the way. I like that the parent display also shows the temperature in baby's room so that you can make sure baby is comfortable. The parent units 4.3 inch color LCD screen is awesome and allows you to see baby very clearly and the zoom feature gives you close up views of baby. I think the security of this monitor is very good, I have not had any issues with interference (I live in an apartment) or any security concerns. I usually turn off the parent unit and camera when not in use as well. I believe this is a well made product and I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quality video baby monitor. I received the Vtech video baby monitor for free from The Weespring Parent Panel in exchange for my honest feedback. The Vtech video baby monitor exceeded my expectations. The wide angled lens captures a clear video of my crawling baby. I have peace of mind day or night because I can always see my baby and everything she does. The video feed is clear in any light. The camera knows when it is nighttime and will automatically switch to night vision. I can also see my baby clearly, though, it is not as clear as daylight. I use the amazing pan, tilt, and zoom feature to watch my baby's every crawl and scoot! It is so cool. My favorite feature from this monitor would have to be the pan, tilt, and zoom. I use that feature the most. I also love the variety of children's nursery songs and calming white noises. The songs have a slightly different tune than the traditional nursery songs but use the same words. It was difficult for me to understand what makes this monitor secure other than that I do not need WiFi to use the monitor. Overall, I recommend this product for any parent with a baby or toddler. I am so glad weeSpring sent me this product!

I bought this for my daughter who delivered her baby boy a couple of weeks ago. It is wonderful!

i bought this about 3 weeks ago. Features are great. Only thing about it is that the screen of the main unit can easily be scratched so just make sure you are not putting these in a bag with other hard objects when you're on the go. The screen can also be a little bigger, volume range can also be a little louder.

Just purchased this monitor and honestly it's awesome. Being a brand new parent and going from not having a monitor to having one, and to boot, this one is a god send! Battery life might not be amazing for that 5000sq home but for a small home it's stellar. For the price paid the security and relaxation of anxiety made this purchase well worth having it plugged in all the time.

I bought this monitor for my baby girl in 2019.. wish I returned it. the battery lasts about 4-5 hours give or take. when the battery is low it makes this EXTREMELY LOUD beeping noise. I have a 2 story house and it wakes her up. the night vision is TERRIBLE! It is so grainy, I can barely see properly.. The first few months the quality was fine but it just got worse over time. It looks like my camera is super dirty and have shadows all over the screen. I don't know why I never returned it, first time mom and never got around to it so I stuck it out. Here I am looking for a new one with better quality almost 2 years later.

Don't buy this item. I bought it twice. The first time the wiring wasn't connected properly so the camera and screen kept disconnecting and the second time after a week of use the screen wouldn't turn back on.
