Bought this for my three year old son. He loves it, and is quickly learning how to write his letters & numbers. The one downside is the screen doesn't light up so it's hard to see if you're not under a light directly.
Great inexpensive toy for pre schoolers
Gave for Christmas she liked .
Ordered this for my grandson's birthday present. He loves it!!!
Perfect learning tool for my almost 3 yr old grandson.
The kids love it
The VTech Write & Learn Touch Tablet is great for school age toddlers. Very easy for toddlers to learn from each program. The stylus is just right for little hands in which it makes learning super fun by creating and writing numbers and letters. So give your toddler an edge with purchasing a great tool to help make learning more funnier.
This tablet is absolutely amazing while working. My son quickly learned to write his letters and numbers. He likes to learn, so it quickly became his favorite toy. I wish it had a backlight, as it is hard to see. He had to be directly under the light to clearly see the screen. The problem with this tablet is that the screen goes out to quickly. It is made for 3+, so it should be made to handle a toddler. We have went through four of these. The screen will stop acknowledging the stylus in one or more areas, and you cannot reset the calibration. So, a child will get frustrated when he's trying to draw a letter and the screen doesn't recognize where the stylus is going. Each one has lasted 1-2 weeks before it no longer works. So, although the toy is great, and will certainly teach your child to write, it does not last. If you can afford to regularly replace it then definitely buy it. But if you want something to keep around, maybe buy another product. I have tossed or returned them, but then my son will ask where his 'draw pad' is, and we cave and get another. It's an endless cycle, and I hope that Vtech improves the quality for future buyers.
Do not buy this piece of garbage. It worked a full one day before it wouldn't turn on again. I called vtech and they said they couldn't do anything about it. Biggest waste of 20 dollars I ever spent. The worst part is my toddler keeps bringing it to me telling me to make it work.
When my 3yr old son opened it on Christmas morning, he was really excited. He loved the toy, well not even a week after he got it, half the screen stopped working. I know what some people were thinking how rough was your child on it. Well to answer that question he was not hard on it at all in fact he was so gentle with it I could have sworn it was his baby.
