Vulcan Blast Graphite Pickleball Paddle (Blue)

I got it for my boyfriend's christmas gift because he lost his. He said it was a really good one that had was lightweight enough to be swift but still strong enough to have power.

Beginner pickle ball player, so this paddle got good reviews. Bought for myself, but husband tried it out, and now we have to order another.

I have played a fair number of times at a local place where you can check out the paddles and balls when you reserve a court, but my neighborhood just put in some courts for residents to use (minus the equipment, so I had to get my own). I am impressed by this paddle compared to the ones I have used, especially the weight and the grip. The paddle is a little heavier than others I have used, which seems to give me more control, and the grip is cushioned and reinforced with stitching that I hope will keep it in good shape for a while.

It's a great size for me as I have smaller hands. Overall, the paddle is less than a pound. It's actually the lightest racket I've ever used. Durable and well made.

I only recommend this to begginners, like I was. The glue around the edge come up when the paddle gets hot from use. Not the best for putting a spin on the ball. Again great for a beginner with small hands.

Bought 2 of these to step up my game. After 30 minutes the bottom cap on the handle off paddles. I dont recommend buying these unless they have corrected the manufacturing issue. The paddle surface is good though. I'd appreciate 2 new, properly glued paddles if someone reads this from Vulcan.
