I play for fun. My friends and I felt the difference between this new ball and our old balls from a different brand. The black vulcan label did disappear after 2-3 hours of play. And the smoothness disappeared as well. It surface got rough after 2-3 hours of play but the bounce is nice. I will purchase again.
It gets hot here. Other balls tend to get soft in the heat but that has not been an issue with the Vulcan V Pro.
Love these balls. They hold their shape very well and seem to last a long time and the ball never has any dead spots on it so the bounce is always true.
What a great upgrade from V1! We have been playing with this ball now for couple weeks and I can saw with confidence that this ball plays amazing. It is like Dura, but better. Unlike Dura that after one game turns into a potato, the ball stays round and bounces true and lasts for days. I can get 2-3 days of very hard 4.5-5.0 play without cracking. I highly recommend this ball!
Great ball. I've played with it for 2 weeks now 5 days a week for about 2-4 hours each time. It hasn't cracked and even though it has worn down a bit, it has been consistent. I will continue to buy this ball instead of the s1 or x40 which have cracked or dented/deflated on me.
Its a pickleball. I don't expect them stay round and not crack forever and my first ball lasted about 10 games. I was slightly surprised by what I would consider a relatively short lifespan for the cost. Haven't played with my remaining 2 yet. I do like the feel and the color. Its a very visible ball and has more pop than a Franklin. I would place it above a Franklin and below the old Durafast 40 in terms of pop.
Dissatisfied with the product. I thought it may have been a bad batch of balls. Played on 7/13/24 and cracked a ball after 40 minutes of play. My teammates consist of strong 4.0 -4.5 players. This was quite odd since this rarely happens after such a short period of play. Usually pickleballs from other companies will last a month tops before cracking. So I give a brand new ball another shot, and again a crack. This happened again about an hour into play. I know our group of players hit the ball hard, but how can the pros play with this ball with this happening so often? I have 4 more Vulcan balls to go and will continue to search for another pickleball to play with.
I love these pickleballs! I have never been a ball snob but I love these. The only problem is that they crack very easily. I've had 3 of them crack and I only played with each of them for 2-3 days.
I have now ordered the bulk pack of 144 Vulcan Pickleball two times and each time I was charged the full amount listed but only received a box of 36 Pickleballs. The order was fulfilled by WalMart but i still cannot receive a reason that we can't seem to have the correct item picked and shipped. The refund process is burdensome and I still have not received my credit for the error reported 8 days ago.
Let me be clear that this review is not about the balls. It's the false advertising by the vendor contracted with Walmart but ultimately Walmart is responsible. The Vulcan balls are good. I've used them before. The problem is that I ordered 100 balls for $149.99 as was advertised. What came to my house were two packs of 36 Vulcan balls. I called Walmart customer service and rather than correcting the order they just cancelled it and said I could reorder. Why would I reorder and have the same thing happen?? Totally disappointed with Walmart and the Vendor who used deceiving practices.
