I got these glasses because my husband does construction and he definitely needed some more glasses. I thought that these were cute. They look like sport type glasses and they come with a black little bag to put the glasses inside. He loves them. I would definitely recommend these glasses to anyone that needs them. The little carrying bag is a plus. Maybe he will stop losing his.

received this item from the Walmart Spark Review Program for no compensation - just an honest and unbiased review. Thank you! I received these in the 1.5x prescription strength, but they are also available in 1.0x, 2.0x, 2.5x, 3.0x, 3.5x, and 4.0x. The VWE Sport Safety glasses are ANSI Z87.1 certified safety glasses – which basically means that they underwent intensive testing to ensure they will protect eyes as expected. These tests include: basic and high-impact for both the lenses and the frames. They also ensure safety from exposure to non-ionizing radiation and chemicals, as well as durability to basic flammables and corrosion. With the science jargon out of the way – they have a black plastic frame, and plastic lenses. There is also a handgrip pattern on temple, which is ergonomically positioned for a secure grip. Also features an adjustable nose piece. Unisex Adult Size = 140mm frame width, 67mm lens width, 43mm lens height, 17mm nose bridge. Distortion free – crystal clear lenses allow for long term use without strain. I thought they were extremely comfortable, however, my wife completely disagreed – stating the nose piece was a bit painful for her – but she didn't try adjusting it at all – which is really easy to do with these. I like them – and will use them for reading or when working on various household projects!
These Vision World Bi-Focal Readers are made of a hard, durable material and come with a convenient fabric cover. There are so many uses from outdoor and garage work to indoor work. I recently tried to thread a needle and could not get the thread through the eye. Well, these readers were nearby so I grabbed them and put them on. The third try, I got it. It was so much easier than before. With a price just under $13, these V.W.E. Sport Protective Safety Glasses blow higher end models away. With the testing done by this company to validate the quality and durability, why pay more when you don't have to?
I am impressed with these safety glasses. They have a nice fit so they will be great for sports. Plus the Bifocal makes them great for using in things like sanding wood because you can use the Bifocal to see the detail in your work or for reading directions on your project with out having to switch to your regular or reading glasses. The Frame and the lens are made out of plastic making them light to wear. They are Impact resistant and have UV protection. These glasses all so have a Adjustable Nose Piece for a better fit for all. Arrived in perfect condition and no scratches.
They seem fine, exactly what they say they are.
I've never seen bifocal safety glasses, but these are. They seem fairly sturdy. I'm not sure of the magnification on the bifocals, but they help me. I don't know how many times I've had to stop an outdoor project to go inside and fetch my reading glasses in order to read directions for something. How convenient these will be. I don't like leaving a pair of glasses outside..I would lose them! I now have a place for these, and the black “case” is handy. It's only made of cloth, though. I would have preferred a hard case. That's really my only reason for not giving these a full five stars. I would say 4 and 1/2 if I had such a choice. Overall, a good buy and a nice addition to my collection of safety glasses!
I have had similar pairs before but they were not comfortable. They also scratched real easily. These fit snug and feel comfortable enough for long term wear. I wish the power was a little stronger since they are only 1.00, but still a lot better than safety glasses without them. They are not too distracting and a reasonable compromise on placement so as not to get in the way for regular viewing and not too far down to be uncomfortable for reading. The real test long term is durability. How will they hold up. We will see but for now I will use them a LOT!
Since I do a lot of outside yard work, I was looking for something that would be easier to wear, since safety glasses that are prescribed are so costly. Regular safety glasses rarely have a bifocal or are not very clear. I need both since many tools and chemical have instructions.... Carrying 2 pair of glasses was a pain. These actually are very clear and not distorted. The bifocal is in a good spot so you do not have to move your head hardly at all. The fit was comfortable. The bows are soft, firm and springy, making the fit secure. The nose bridge was no issue with me at all for me. My neighbor also tried them on. His head was wider and the fit was good on him also. I purposely dropped them on the floor, dropped tools on them and then sprayed water (at my face) to see what coverage and/or damage. would happen.. They withstood the drop, the being dropped on and the spray deflected nicely away from my eyes. We will be trying them out in an actual actual construction setting.. I will update my review if they do not hold up to what they have so far. As of now, I am pleased and would get another pair when needed.
They fall apart very easy especially the rubber ends that go to the side of your ears and the lens get scratched really fast.
