Really easy to hook up and it works great. I have had someone else taking care of my pool for years,when they quit, I had to make a change. The price of pool maintenance is out of my budget. So I decided I was going to have to do it myself. I did a lot of research on vacuums and this is the one I decided on. I made the right decision. I purchased the four wheel vacuum and it cleans my pool amazingly and is so easy. I would recommend this to anyone that needs to purchase a new vacuum for their pool.

I ordered a new Hayward Inground Suction The PoolCleaner 4 Wheel pool cleaner and could not be happier with my purchase. We are a previous PoolCleaner owner. After 15 years, we decided to replace it instead of rebuilding it. So glad we made this decision. And purchasing it from Doheny's was a GREAT choice! We received our order within a couple days, which, if you are a pool owner, know is critical. Our pool looks beautiful and sparkling again and we love it!

This vacuum keeps my pool looking great

This unit replaced an identical 8 year old model manufactured under the Poolvernuegen brand. The new unit installed quickly and had the pool clean within a few hours. Only time will tell if this Hayward unit will have the reliability/longevity of the original. Note: This item was backordered and took several weeks to arrive, but was exactly as specified online and I could not beat Doheny's sale price.

They die after 6-7 years of age (wear out) but they are phenomenal vacuum cleaners. They do require regular maintenance (replace wheel rubbers every 4 months or so). I would have rebuilt the unit I have but the difference in cost between a new unit and the rebuild is so small I just bought a new one. The old one will be relegated for spare parts.

This Pool Cleaner is fantastic! The new version with the larger opening works great! My first one lasted almost ten years and without any repairs. It would probably still be working if the kids didn't try to take it out of the pool and break the back wheel.

The is the third one of these that I have owned over about 18 years. If only they were just a little more resilient. Other than the drive-train being a little flimsy and the replacement tires being priced like they are made of precious metal, a great pool cleaner for the price. You should get 5-10 years of service out of it

Periodically the wheels will lock up and the sweeper will not move. To get them to roll again I have to disconnect the hose and spin the inside blades with my finger to free the wheels up. I have taken it apart and there's no foreign objects inside. Frustrating to have a new sweeper doing this.

I'd like to rate this product but Doheny's Pool Supplies never completed the order. After initially charging the credit card, they reversed it without any explanation. I purchased the same product from a local pool supply store for $100 less. It worked out for me in the end but obviously won't use Doheny's Pool Supplies again.

Hayward's new version of "The Pool Cleaner" with the modified wheels (with the little notch on them) will not climb my pool walls, however, my older version of the same Unit will, neither did the 4 wheel Aquanaut 400, for this reason I had to return them both. Again, my older version (without the notch on the wheel) to this day is still climbing the wall of my pool all the way to the tile level, and I love it! Hayward may want to rethink that modified wheel.
