I didn't expect a popcorn maker to change my life… but here we are. The Whirley Pop has completely rewritten what I thought popcorn could be. Perfectly fluffy, almost zero unpopped kernels, and not a single burnt piece in sight—every batch is a win. Microwave popcorn and I have officially broken up. I now control the oil, the salt, and the destiny of every kernel. It's fast, easy, and oddly satisfying to use. If popcorn is a regular part of your life (or you want it to be), this thing is an absolute game-changer.
Old fashioned and clunky, yes, but I have never found anything else that makes better popcorn. You'll spin along for two minutes or so with nothing happening, then all at once they all pop in a period of about 15 seconds, none of them burned. Mine was shipped with the wire not actually touching the bottom, so it wasn't moving the kernels. I bent the wire down a little and it worked perfectly.
Very nice popcorn popper. Works really well, popss most all kernels and doesn't burn. Really like this popper.
My son in law loved it. Made with pride and quality!!!!
Makes great popcorn with hardly any un-popped kernels. Better than microwave - just not as fast. Would recommend.
I found one of these in the past and really enjoyed it. Unfortunately, the rotary gear broke after 10 years of use. So I bought a new one.
If you use the packets made for the size you will only get maybe one or two kernels unpopped. Great theater taste and so simple. This is our second one for a vacation home. Tired of microwave popcorn, yuck.
perfect popcorn popper
Doesn't cook as quick as instructions state but still like popcorn maker.
Extremely disappointed. The online photos of this product with metal gears but what I received was a popper with teflon gears which are a lot less expensive.
