We stacked two buckets, nestled inside each other (to add a little height) and added this seat, and voila we have an emergency toilet. It's an acceptable substitute during emergencies or camping trips! I love the side clips it helps me feel secure sitting on the seat. it's very convenient to have on hand!

We use this seat for camping. It fits perfectly on our Lowe's 5 gallon bucket. You can get pop up tents that work as a changing area or bathroom. Even better we recently had frozen pipes so that water wouldn't drain out of our house. It was 5 days before a plumber could get to us. This setup was a huge help! You can get liners that come with crystals the turn liquid into gel. Simply tie up the bag and remove it after use.

This is by far the most compact %26 easy to use portable toilet on the market. Apart from the bucket, the lid is about 1” thick, very sturdy, and tight fit to the bucket. The height is good, paper roll holder is convenient. Simply line the bucket with bags, simple clean up. This item is far better than leaning against a tree, in the rain, at night…

this is a great lid set up especially for those that have a bit bigger bottom then others since the lid folds all the way out of the way so there is no risk of braking the lid hinge

Buy 13 gallon bags or larger - balance is key without support- raccoons left alone so far recommend bucket weight or earth berm

This lid fit perfectly on a five gallon pail/bucket. It did not slide around, or shift out of place. It was very easy to place, and is sturdy enough to hold an adult. It is the size of a standard small toilet seat, not an elongated, more oval bowl. It has a snap clip for holding a roll of toilet paper that affixes to the underside of the seat. The clip to hold the hanger might need to be treated carefully while camping or using for hurricane use or any other reason you might need an impromptu toilet.

The lid snaps closed on the seat, but the seat just sits on top of the bucket. You go to open the lid, and you pull everything up off the bucket. I would like the seat to fit tighter on the bucket.
