[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great heat gun awesome with a variety of uses. I noticed on colder days, it does take a while to heat up (like half a minute), but it isn't too bad. I have actually used this in a variety of projects. I am a DIY electronics person. I've used this to shrink heat shrink tubing, and it is great for that. It also worked for remelting hot glue so i can reshape it. I used to use a soldering iron for doing that and it always ends up in a mess. I also shoot archery. Sometimes the arrow inserts/tips of my arrows either fully come out or partially come out when I accidentally shoot it into something hard. I find that by blowing the insert with this heat gun a tiny bit, I loosens it just enough for easier removal from the arrow shaft. I also found that by heating up the insert and tips with this, I expand the metal just enough so the residual super glue peels off. Works great for that. Remember to use pliers though as this heat gun gets mighty hot.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this heat gun! I have used to it thaw out my frozen pipes that we forgot to wrap and it worked well and it thawed them in no time. It heats up pretty fast so you don't have to wait a super long time to use it. I also used it to do some shrink wrap around a gift that I gave as a wedding gift and turned out prefect!!!! These are just some of the uses that I have found for it. My hubby who is a electrician has also used it on his job to bend conduit. I would recommend this brand to a friend who is looking to buy a great heat gun!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this heat gun to do arts and craft projects with my children. It has been a great new addition to out craft supply's as we tried out making shrinky dink key chains. First we started out with painting our hands and placing them on the shrinky dink paper then I turned power on the heat gun an to my suprise it heated fastly an the stand was very helpful for us. We are happy an love using the heat gun.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this unit to help me get my home ready for the holidays and it is amazing! Multi-purpose! I used it to strip the paint off a few old picture frames, I created gift baskets, made a few Christmas ornaments and removed old bumper stickers off my file cabinet!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the small size of this heat gun. The slim grip is perfect! It is very easy to hold and aim. Much easier to hold than the blow dryer style guns. It's great for precision work. I enjoy it for my vinyl and wood craft projects!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I saw this wagner heat tool I automatically thought winterize the windows! Then I saw on their website a craft section. Game changer! I'm always looking to spice up the house a little bit with some cool crafts. Look how cute I made this simple candle by adding a few seashells. It does get very hot so it's not something I would recommend for kid crafts. But adult crafts are even better now.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My favorite thing about this heat gun is how fast it heats up. Secondly I appreciate that you can hold it just fine, without worrying about loosing control during my crafting. Also the cord is long enough to be plugged in below my table and still have enough length for me to comfortably use it. I used it to help me transfer vinyl and it works great. I would definitely recommend it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this item for free in exchange for my honest review. I used this heat gun to affix wall vinyl stickers to my daughter's room. It is light weight and easy to handle. It worked very well for what I needed and I would definitely recommend it!
Nice changes with this new heat gun: Two speeds, manual lists which speed to use for your project. More quite that its predecessor. The only con (if I would really call it that), takes a little longer to melt embossing powder. Having said that, it does a beautiful job!
Quit. Working after a few uses.
