Wagon Train was one of my favorite series as I grew up in the 50's-60's. Each episode was in insight into the struggles of not only the people making the journey from St. Jo, Missouri, to San Francisco, California, but the crew with the responsibility to get their charges safely to their final destination. Along the way they would pick up added passengers and they never knew with they would "shoot you down" as the lyrics of the theme song stated. Ward Bond, Robert Horton, Terry Wilson, and Frank McGraff played their roles to the hilt. The outdoor shots of the beautiful prairie to the majestic mountain were captured beautifully. They didn't have today's technology. The stories were well written. Howard Christy was produces, par excellence. Many of the directors were well known in their craft. When you have talent in front of the camera and behind it, you product has to be great! Relive America's past and growth when you join the Wagon Train! Wagons, ho!!

Arrived in perfect condition

I watched this series as a child with my mother, sister and brothers . It brings back such good memories. My only wish would be that it was in color.

I like the show, the video could be a little clearer. Forgot it was from the 50's so its not colored.
