This is my second Wahl beard trimmer my first one lasted about fifteen years it worked really great until it finally died. The quality of the new one is not very impressive, the first thing I noticed was how freaking noisy it is you need ear plugs to use it and also the blade edges are very rough and scratches your face it's not the same quality of the old one that cost half as much as this new one.

Colors of the parts are not really matching. That was the only problem I had. Otherwise, it does the job.

Didnt know at the time this model doesnt have a charging light. Other than that it works good.

A word of warning, this thing is LOUD. at full charge, trimming my beard up around my ears actually hurt my eardrum. this is easily the loudest beard trimmer I have ever used in my life. It cuts hair well, but your neighbors are going to know you're shaving.

The head is much narrower than I anticipated, requiring many more runs than classic Wahl machines. I do like the colour codes for trim depth, as well as the 1 to 10 universal block. Okay, I did not expect the quality of my almost 50 year old machine, however, the following is below market standards: The machine is very noisy. There is a lot of stubble when not using a block to trim the outsides of the beard. As I live abroad, I will not attempt to request a credit .

Not one of the better Wahl products. Very disappointed with the clippers as they do not perform very well when trimming beard.

Love Wahl clippers, but not this one First on arrived dead and would not charge. Wahl does not include a USB charger, no biggie, but how cheap are they.. Main problem - it does NOT shave as close as my wahl old style trimmer. I expected better battery and better shave but its not there. I used to use my rechargable clipper every 2 days and it kept hair low enough. This one does not get low enough and i have to regularly use old one or my norelco razor.. Not a time saver.
