Wahl Deluxe Pet Hair Clipper

This product functioned very well. The smaller of the two units is battery operated. My only complaint is that it is fairly loud. For dogs that are skittish about noise, they will NOT appreciate this item.

Clippers arrived on the given time. inused them on my dog who needed a cut and a trim. they worked great i hobestly dont have any complains as of now.

With proper use this shaver and trimmer work very well. keep it clean, oiled, and move slowly as you shave or trim allowing the blade to cleanly cut and not to snag the hair out ! If you have a larger breed to clip test the blade-flat frequently on your hand for heat that can burn the skin, but I didn't have that problem with this set! I used this clipper on a Aussie that was matted and dirty (not recommended) using careful and slow movements was able to puppy clip the whole body without the clipper getting hot to touch or stressing out the dog. I then used the trimmer for the head, ears, legs, feet, belly, & rear/ tail trim. His happy dance made me feel so relieved for him! I kept the blade cleaned of hair & oiled during the cut frequently which i think helped keep it cool to touch and gliding through the fur. I would definitely but this again; in fact I think i'll get a second for my friend of 3 dogs!

great item and rasy to use

I was so happy to see these on sale, I've needed a pair for so long. there worth every penny plus more.

it was what i wanted...but i ordered 3 other things(which i got and liked) that could have been shipped in the same big box,but instead everything was shipped seperate and in big bulky boxes.

I got this set because I didn't want to spend money on more expensive clipper/trimmer sets. I decided to start grooming my 2 cockapoos to save money and create more bonding time with them. I introduced the clippers and the grooming table properly and they do fine with the grooming sessions itself. But after about 4 uses of this set between the 2 dogs, both the clipper and the trimmer seem to have 'dulled' up, now not shearing all the hair that I pass them through. I know and I do maintain the blades by keeping them clean and oiled. Also, the tips of the plastic blade guards tend to bend over each other when passing through very light knots. I am purchasing the Wahl Bravura clipper to replace this. This is good for starters but if you really want to perfect your home dog grooming techniques and plan to do your dog grooming for good, better invest on a more upgraded Wahl product. This set may seem to be a good price but considering I will be replacing them after 3 months, it turned out to be a waste instead.
