Wahl Extreme Grip Pro Corded Hair Clipper for Men or Women, No-Slip Grip Hair Clipper, 79465-300

We have a Golden Doodle and decided to try and groom him ourselves. Went with these clippers because of the gripping ability, and the price as well. They work great. I would post a picture of him, but as I write this review he is only 3/4 of the way done and looks like a homeless dog that someone got a hold of. Seems that for beginners and a large doodle, it's a 2 day process!

This new model is actually a bit heavier than my previous unit but still provides a decent cut and other grooming options.

I purchased them for my Barber to use and he says they are nice, he was impressed with the quality of them. They have the right amount of weight and l highy recommend them.

fell great doesn't get hot in your hands after cutting for a good while color is awesome only issue it's basic at really evenly cutting for me I have not to thick hair somewhat wavy even wet I had to go over the same patch quite a few times but overall works

I have used these clippers a few times, on thick and thin hair. I have to use twice as many guards as before. Trying to cut thick hair at the length you want is like trying to cut grass that's too tall. You have to start really high and work your way down. It seems to only pull if I'm using a guard that's too short. If I'm using the correct guard it cuts ok. I have to go over the hair more than before. Close cutting, with no guard, for sideburns is not as good either. It won't cut all the way down to the skin. The guards are a bit harder to put on. They don't just snap on. The grip is a joke. It moves around and the hair absolutely sticks to it. I eventually took it off. It is quiet and the weight doesn't bother me. Our old clippers were Wahl and worked great. I could put any guard on and they would cut without pulling. I recommend trying the regular, no thrills model. There is nothing special about this one.

I have used Wahl hair clippers for years and this is the first model I buy that I have issues with. The machine didn't cut the hair properly, instead it constantly pulled it . I don't like the new clip system, it's a little more difficult to change them.

Would not cut my golden doodles fur. It had a nice grip but that was about it.

Just bought this thing and I have to say I am not impressed. The guard on it is very sharp but the blades are not. It did a passable cutting the hair on my head but when it came to the hair on my face it pulled more than it cut. It is actually pretty heavy for hair clippers, and the vibration from it will make your hand go numb within the first minute or so.

This is the worst quality clippers I have ever bought. They were bought brand new but seem used. There is rust on the blades, they are dull, and they jam and stick. They pull hair and because they jam they cut. I tries to use once and they are so awful. Do not buy.
