I needed a new groomer primarily for use as I shave my head. The blades provide a very good, clean and even shave even in spots where I have some divots and bumps. I've also used the shaver for keeping my facial hair trimmed. While I prefer a blade shave this one provided a good clean shave without irritation that I have had with other electric razors. The body of the device fits well in my hand, no matter the angle that I am using it - which is important when you have to hold it several ways to get to the spots on your head. Changing blades and trimmers is very simple, though the directions could be more clear the first time one uses it. More images in the directions versus trying to interpret the words would help. The only issue I had, and it has been the case with past groomers/shavers too, is that the blade guards for cutting hair can give a bit of an uneven cut as it is hard to keep a consistent distance from your skin as you go over parts that are round. I'm on my second week using this groomer and it's great. I have only used the beard trimmer so far. It is easy to use, just set one of the beard guides and trim away. Gives me an even trim every time, this is the main use for me. I charged it for about 2 hours the first time and haven't had the need to charge it after two weeks of using it. I thought that the WAHL Lithium ion worked well I used it to fully shave with the duel shaver. I then Used the nose trimmer which worked well. The T blade is good for touch-ups on the beard the regular detailer is good for necklines and sideburns. The detail shaver works best before or after the duel shaver. Its six interchangeable heads are easy to pop in and off. This Razor was better then any of the razors I've ever had or purchased. It leaves the skin feeling silky smooth. WAHL makes the best shaver and always has in my personal opinion so I knew this would be an excellent product even before testing it. I've owned many trimmers in my life and Wahl is always far superior. That being said this Lithium-Ion Trimmer is even better. The battery holds a charge really long over many uses. Not having a cord getting in your way is a great added feature and it's extremely light. The blades are super sharp and seem to keep there edge really well. I love all the attachments that come with it. With this model I'm starting to manscape my body with real precision. Also it's a lot quieter than my past trimmers which sometimes sounded like an angry beehive. I received this groomer about a year ago and had never owned a product like this before. This has worked so great and I use it all the time. I have owned this model of beard trimmer for five years or so. It has been reliable and worked well for keeping a clean looking beard that ranges from a bit more than a five o'clock shadow to a 1/2 inch thick sometimes. I use it every other day or so with no guard to smooth shave around my upper cheeks and neck. It isn't as smooth as a razor, but it is good enough for my taste. Then depending on how I am feeling, I use the #2 guard or bigger to trim up the rest and keep it clean and uniform. I probably trim the beard once every week or two on average. My one complaint about beard trimmers in general is that it is difficult to shave around the transition at my chin line and it can take a long time to shave if going from a full beard to stubble. So a few months back, I looked into a bunch of different beard trimmers and it seems no one has a good solution for these problems. Instead of getting something different, I decided to get a second one of these to see if there had been any improvements. There hadn't been any changes, but it is still the same great shaving tool and I will either keep it as a back up or pass it along to a friend if I hear them complaining about their shaving tool. The Wahl Lithium Ion Multigroomer is definitely my new favorite! I love how easy it is to interchange the attachments. Easy to pack and carry on the go. The product has a nice feel to it. Battery life is good too. I have tried almost all the groomer blades and can safely say they work really well.
