This is one of the most warm throws I have ever ordered. It was soft and fluffy. And, the correct color. I love this throw. I'm thinking about ordering another one for a gift.

I needed gold colored throws for my family room. I found several on line but none that met my expectations. I decided to check out Walmart and found the perfect thows at a great price.

I love it, but it took a couple hours to get it to how I love it. First of all, like other linens shipped from China, it arrived vacuum-packed. That meant it had a lot of wrinkles, and had that I've-been-wrapped-in-petroleum-based-plastic-for-too-long kind of odor. So I washed it right away to get the odor to dissipate and wrinkles to disappear. took it out of the dryer and although the odor was gone, the wrinkles remained. Therefore, I had to lay it out on my bed and hand-steam iron it, to get all the wrinkles out. That took another 45 minutes. Once I did that it was beautiful, with a soft nap and shiny feel on the velvet side; cozy feel on the sherpa side. I re-folded it to await my housekeeper to put it on my bed. Well, as I unfolded the blanket, many wrinkles returned---just from sitting folded, overnight! Darn. I was NOT gonna use the steam iron again. We put it on my bed. Turns out a lot of the wrinkles dissipated by hand-pushing the velvet pile into one direction. I do love the super pale pink color and prettiness/coziness of the blanket though. And I realize that photographers' stylists really must do a lot of work to get these items to photograph as well as they look onscreen!

not as thick and fluffy as I expected, even after wash/dry. It's ok, but I'd spend more money on something plusher, if you can.
