I have flower beds everywhere in huge yard, out in country, where wind is always blowing new seeds into yard. Most of them will sprout right next to a perennial or annual plant, where it is impossible to use any kind of weed killer. My daughter requested one of these for xmas and after I saw it, I got one for myself and just used it today. Ive been gardening for over 50yrs and cant believe all the time Ive wasted on my hand and knees, prying out weeds by hand, especially thistle, dandelion and spurge. I absolutely love this thing. The prongs are thick steel that wont bend in hard soil and after 2 or 3 twists, root comes right out and doesnt waste much soil. I took out over 4 dz weeds in 15 min. Im getting another to keep in back yard. Im mid-70's and feel kinda stupid for not getting one sooner, but didnt know this kind of wonderful thing even existed

This tool does a great job at pulling weeds up by the roots. I was worried that the plastic piece where you place your foot would be a weak spot, but it is much more robust than I expected and is very strong. Do your back a favor and get this tool for weed removal. As an added bonus, the WalMart price was $10 less than at the home improvement store that rhymes with “toes”.

I learned the trick to use this wonderful tool, and that is to pull your weeds out with your Walensee Upgraded Weed Puller after it rains or after you water, because that makes the ground around it loose👍

Light weight, pretty sturdy and easy to use. No kneeling, means no sore knees. Worth the price.

This unit is fine for very light weeds, but for Va. runner grass, the answer is forget it. Takes more time than if you just use the old fashioned weed puller forked tool.

Plastic handle and foot step will not last, handle thin aluminum. this is not as long lasting as others made of steel at half this price.

very sturdy, good metal, operates easily.no assembly required. However,,,difficult to get med to large weeds roots out. tiny weedscome out ok. leaves about 1 1/2" diameter and deep hole that has to be filled in. faster and easier to just pop weed out with trowel or narrow shovel. i have to return item.

The prongs are NOT long enough to grab hold of most of my long dandelion roots!!

Hard to use on large weeds that spread out. I think it was designed to be used only fir dandelions.
