I reside full time in a small RV; step on toilet flush peddle — water runs and opens toilet hole flushing to black tank, drop one pod in toilet hole followed by hot water (I boil water in tea kettle), I “clean” monthly, instructions says less often. let pod work its magic for several hours or overnight to break up solids. Then, do black tank drain to sewer/septic… Tada!

I was skeptical when I ordered this. I left it in a full tank for two days. After I drained it I checked the gauge and the sensor worked for the first time in two years!

I love this black water helper! It smells so good and really does its job as there is not hunks of solids like toilet paper when the black tank is drained. However it says on the front of the package that there is a whole years supply inside the bag. (I did not buy it because of that statement) But it is misleading because if you are on vacation for a whole month are you not supposed to put a new packet in the tank after it is drained? I do. and there goes my years supply lol. Anyways, I do recommend this black tank cleaner and odor tamer. It really works!

I have a 2006 Travel Supreme. It worked for me. Followed instructions; used the garden hose to fill it (faster) instead of the house water. (Better if RV was on the road as the motion would slosh back and forth) Every few hours I used the hose shooting water down the opening. After a 10-12 hour soak-overnight, I pulled the black tank, checked my sensors, and was very pleased. I left to run my errands. BUT avoid the extra work I had to do. It was a very warm day and I neglected to RINSE it and that evening; the valve wouldn't click in that quarter inch. So I dragged out the hose Again…. Hey, I don't have a snuggie (bf) to do it for me -lol. Do it, Use it, yeah I'll be doing again. When was the last time You've done it? *)

Excellent product. It is supposed to just clean sensors and clean the tank; but it also seems to do a good job for us on just keeping the smell down. We live in Arizona and it is extremely hot and cooks the black tank so we need everything we can get to keep the odors down. I used the command product and then about halfway through add a bio pack Alpine fresh. I strongly recommend it.

I don't use anything else. This really works!

The worst part about camping are the holding tanks! Commando is the best tank additive! We use it regularly. It makes camping smell so much better.

I didn't receive this item

Did not work as well as other brands. Had to use 2 to keep odors down. Not cost effective.

I ran 3-4 pouches of this through my tank, letting it sit in the tank for many days longer than recommended, but it just didn't work.
