Walker Edison Traditional Solid Wood Twin Low Loft Bed, Grey

This bed looks fantastic in my 4 year olds bedroom. It's the perfect height for him, not much higher than a standard twin. Some of my pieces were not labeled dark enough to read so putting it together was a pain. Took me almost 2 hours. I'm still giving 5 stars but the directions and labeling was slacking.

This bed is real wood and was pretty easy to put it together. Feel like it only took my husband and I (most him) an hour to put it together! We were both surprised at the quality. Our 5 year old loves it!

It is a good bed and was easy to put together. We purchased it as a transition from the crib and our 2 year old son loves it. The main issue I have is with the ladder. The second step was slightly too close to the base. Our son had just enough room to stick his toes in between the step and the bed base, but it was so snug that his toes had a tendency to get caught. It's fine when he's going up, but when he goes down it definitely screamed to me as a safety risk. I had to drill some new holes and move the step down 5/8” just to be sure he didn't dislocate or break his toes on the way down (especially if he accidentally fell which all kids eventually do). On the plus side, the bed gives him just enough height to enjoy climbing, but not so much that he would hurt himself if he fell from the bed (he's already trying to balance on the side rails, much to our dismay, so it's bound to happen at some point). The picture shows how much room he has after moving the second step down 5/8”.

Very nice quality. Only issue is the ladder. The spacing / steps are difficult. Bottom is too close to the ground and top step is so close to the bottom of the bed. There isn't enough space above the top step to actually step on it. My almost 3 year old is unable to get up the ladder yet.

Easy to put together, instructions very clear, it was in perfect condition when it arrived. Took about 2-2.5 hours to put together by myself. The steps should be spaced out a little more, I think it's a manufacturing flaw, other than that I have no complaints. My 3.5 year old loves it.

Assembled easily but wood isnt best quality. Ok for a first bed but do not expect it to last a long time.

Its perfect for my toddler! Shes in love. Only thing is of you hit it once the wood cracks/messes up but good for the price.

I bought two of these beds in April for my boys. By July the sides has broken and now at the end of November both of these beds have split on the sides. We salvaged one with my husband makeshifting a beam but this one is totaled. What a waste of $400.

I purchased four of these beds for my kids and not only did they lose some in transit and had to wait forever but I finally get them and the darn things break! My child isn't even 50lbs and the frame that holds it cracked when they simply climbed in their bed! All I heard was a loud cracking sound and I looked under the bed and found this nightmare! I can not believe this happened. I paid so much money for these and got a disaster.

Item wasn't even dropped off 5 minutes ago and noticed the shipping box is damaged and so is part of the product. Already starting a return. Sad I won't be able to give it as a Christmas gift anymore.
