Pro and con, each ear is powered by an angle battery, each ear has own volume control on off switch. Great redundancy but have to double down on turning them off. Great fit, quality product, excellent packing
I use these mainly in an indoor range. Now about a year in I can say that they're very comfortable and have about the highest Noise Reduction Rating for digital muffs. Just recently took these on a bird hunt and I didn't realize how good the omnidirectional sound was for locating noises.
My purchase of Walker earmuffs was seamless and quick. I have been using them for several months now and they work up to and beyond expectations. I use them on indoor and outdoor ranges, for individual practice and competition. I have hearing loss and the muffs allow me to hear range instructions and other conversation while muffling the loud report from gunfire. My only minor complaint is that they are a bit snug over my ears so that they become uncomfortable if worn for an extended period. I would recommend this product to everyone.
The high level of static noise, or white noise, is a disappointment. With all the white noise, they are overpriced. I now only use these as passive muffs, meaning I leave them turned off.
It doesn't magnify the sound as much as it should and it is non directional- I can't tell what direction the sound is coming from.
