This is a lovely little bench top power supply. Everyone that tinkers with electronics should have one. I found it a little strange that they used two separate adjustment knobs, labeled fine and coarse to adjust whole numbers and decimals when changing outputs, but I guess that'll give you more fine grain adjustments when needed. I like that the unit has over voltage protection you can enable and disable with a switch. The display is bright and clear. The numbers are large and easy to read. The construction of the unit feels decent, however it is lighter in the hand than I expected. All in all, for the price, this seems like a fantastic deal. I recommend it.

Just what i needed to diagnose electronics. It is accurate, i measured with my Fluke meter so for most jobs, this will provide enough power. Best thing is, it accepts my super tiny and pointy probes. I use the clamp for negative and prong for positive to inject voltage where needed. It has over current protection which is also a good thing so you don't fry your potential repair!! It's pretty small so you don't really add more to your desk, easy to control, push the knobs for decimal adjustments. As a hobbyist, I find it useful and helpful.

One star off for shipping delays. Seller promised to upgrade their shipping for all future orders. I am a retired electronics technician/engineer with decades of experience having very heavy power supplies on my benches, they all weighed 20 to 30 pounds and had beefy carrying handles on top because of their iron transformers. Now these efficient compact solid state switching power supplies and digital displays make that weight and bulk obsolete. In addition this design has more features than most; such as wattage display, USB charge outlets and automatic smart cooling fan. The display's digits are large, bright and crisp. The overload/short protection is automatic unless you override it with the switch. The front panel on/off switch is convenient. It would be wise to have a replacement mains power fuse on hand just in case. Power cord and two output cables are included, they have insulated alligator clips and spade terminals so the banana plug outlets are left free. I believe this is calibrated from the factory. I have two digital volt meters to compare readings to - one was .1V high, the other was .1V low in comparison so I'm happy with the accuracy and the easy precision adjustment knobs that quickly dial in the precise parameters you need. The included 35 page manual has 5 pages in English but honestly you should already be familiar with these devices if you are buying one. The cooling fan may turn on briefly as a check when you power this up and that means it is ready when needed. I tested the output on a 12AH AGM battery that needed a partial charge. That went well without needing the fan for cooling and the amperage display was nice to have. The case is well vented. It emits beeps as you use it but there is no info in the manual as to what the beeps mean. My hobby bench is small and cluttered already but this very small case will find a welcome spot on it and I won't need a separate USB charger taking up an outlet any more. I already had an assortment of cables on hand with banana plugs and precision clips. Standard unsheathed volt meter cable accessories will fit the front output plugs. Frankly the updated design and smaller size of these switching power supplies are impressive and more convenient. I don't know if a calibration lab service can check and adjust this design but probably so. The case has a calibration tamper seal. This is an affordable and convenient 5 star troubleshooting and battery charging tool for the home hobbyist or technician. The prices at the time of this review are very competitive.
