Just what I needed, critical to voltage matching and amperage settings, this is going to help me with everything from my drone batteries to managing my electric wheelchair electrical system and modifications, and more that I haven't even thought about yet. This power supply is pretty accurate and allows easy bench testing of various electronic devices. I use it for automotive and other electronics and find it very helpful as you can adjust voltages and amperage with a turn of a dial. The compact size is a plus and the display is very bright and clear. Overall construction is great too for the price. A must for those working with electronics. The USB port is an added plus.
Nice compact unit fits nicely on the electronics workbench. With so many electronics directly using USB power now, the inclusion of the USB port is a nice option that many traditional benchtop power supplies lack. The display toggles between settings and output readings. Only thing I'd like is a longer power cable, but its a generic AC power cable, so easily replaceable.
I already own a larger model Wanptek bench top power supply. The reason I wanted this one is that it is smaller and will have room on my already cluttered bench. The other supply is great and has performed well, but I mainly work with 5V circuits and it is overkill. This little supply is perfect for my needs! The size is just right! It can stay on my workbench without being in the way. It comes with the necessary cables and an instruction manual. It was packaged extremely well. It could have survived a 20' drop the way it was packaged. Very little chance of it getting damaged in shipment. Wanptek may not be a brand you have heard of, but they have been around for a while and seem to manufacture quality products. Like I said earlier, this is not the first Wanptek power supply I have owned. If you need a quality power supply that isn't the size of a shoe box, then this is it!
