War and Remembrance: The Complete Epic Mini-Series (DVD)

Ive searched and searched for War and Rememberance for quite sometime. Finally found online through a seller on Walmart web site. Brand new condition, works great, plays great. Very happy with purchase. This mini series is awesome. And very vivid account of WW2. I would recommend this series to anyone! Also would recommend it's prequil, The Winds of War. I read the book, and viewed "War and Remberance" when it first appeared on TV twenty years ago. It was a thrill to watch it again, especially without all the commercials. It is a magnificent movie, and of interest to anyone who enjoys WWII pictures. This is a sequel to "Winds of War", and I highly recommend that also.

PLOT: takes over where The Winds of War left off after the bombing of Pearl Harbour~ with Jane Seymour who shines as Natalie and most of the orig cast. This set has the ENTIRE miniseries. This was made in 1984 and was shot on location and took over a year to shoot and was the FIRST MOVIE CREW ever allow in Auschwitz. VERY well done and great CAST~ 5 stars all the way and I highly recommend this series~ also try The Winds of War~ Wouk who wrote the best selling novels collaborated on the Movies and scripts. outstanding~has some distressing moments so should have adult supervision when viewed by younger children.IF you want to do this right watch Winds of War first and then this set for the entire series in order~ scene stealer here is Jane Seymour who should have won an Emmy in this one~

Excellent product service. Enthralling series. I missed it in the 80's when originally telecast. Wife and I were glued to the tv, watched the episodes till 2 in the morning. MUST SEE.

A history that still needs to be remembered.

Disc one not working, Walmart not responding to disc replacement. Waste of time and money.

disk 11 will only play about half........first half won't play at all.......I would like to return it...... good movie
