Great third person shooter game with an excellent co-op crossplay experience. I haven't had this much fun with a shooter since gears of war. You don't need to know anything about Warhammer to have a great time, I sure didn't, but I do want to learn more now!
Old school action and bombast. Cool graphics and effects. Game play is simple but not simplistic. Interesting customization options for multiplayer if you're into the lore and/or customizing your avatar. Single player story is pretty fun.
Very well done game with solid graphics, great atmosphere, good story etc. Feels like the higher standard you used to be able to expect from games but now rarely see. Enjoy it while you can.
This game is absolutely worth the money. The campaign mode is excellent and multiplayer gives you a reason to keep playing many hours after you've finished the game! Worth every penny!!!
game's pretty awesome if you're a Warhammer fan you're going to enjoy it I don't like certain things about it but it sounds like they're going to make it a forever game where they're going to continue to add more weapons and missions and all kinds of stuff the character customization and artwork they used on it is absolutely amazing! The campaign was pretty dang Epic as well!
Pure Warhammer essence. Campaign is a little too short but the extra content and the multilayer make up for it.
Fantastic game! This was the only retailer I could find it in stock at a month after the game came out.
The gameplay was fun and challenging with the controls working smoothly. The story is interesting while watching the main character grow over the course of the campaign. Their world is super unique with how the society functions. Cons of game are that it would be better if given time to hear what the bosses and other characters are saying without being harassed by a bunch of enemies. It can be quite hard at times when the ranged enemies are shredding your health bar as you're trying to reach them to take them down. All in all, it was a very fun experience and the multiplayer game modes keep the fun going when you're done with the campaign.
GEARS OF WARHAMMER. Space Marine II is the sequel to Warhammer 40K from PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. SPACE MARINE II has stunning graphics with incredible detail. It offers two modes: Performance and Quality that balances graphical fidelity and frame rate. I personally prefer Quality Mode keeping the game at fairly steady 30fps but using performance mode opens it up to about 40-50fps, that fluctuates--depending on whats going on on screen at once. SOUND is excellent! Voice acting is top notch, sound effects are impressive feeling that thump with every drop or every enemy stomped and score that sounds impresive all packed onto a single disc with incredible binural 3D Audio through offical PlayStation 3D Audio headphones. CONTROLS are tight and responsive. The game gives you a complete tutorial with a bit if a learning curve but you pick it up quickly and it simply adds to the immersion. I do, however, wouldve liked to have a more immersive experience, especially come hot off the heels of PlayStation exclusive Astro Bot that really utilizes the Dualsense controller, youll never experience on Xbox consoles. GAMEPLAY feels very much like Gears of War keeping the gameplay floored and feeling weighty. The game is linear, which Ive always liked keeping gameplay simple and straight forward. Gameplay is a good 20 or so hours and then you still have multiplayer or cooperative modes to play and if you really feel the need to get the most out of your money, the game--as usual-- sports challenges getting your trophies to boost your ranking amongst your friends list. Weapons and ammo are solid and a lot of fun allowing you a variety of firearms and explosives to take out enemies from a distance or up close with a blade equipped with chainsaw capability to hack your enemies to pieces and watch the blood spary and spill, feeling just like Gears of War Chainsaw gun, but not as much the curb stomping. Warhammer 40K Space Marine II is a heck of an experience, especially for Warhammer fans and action game enthusiasts alike. Its much different in style compared to its PC RTS counterparts, and isnt open world but certainly is one of the years best on PS5, PC, or Xbox Series
Shipping took way longer than was told. For it being the modern day some games need to go backwards, this is one of them. The only reason why it was bought was so we could play 2 people together. Nope. No local co op. Online only play for multiplayer. Graphics are great but let down in not being able to enjoy with other locally.
