Warm and White Cotton Batting, Craft Size 34" x 45"

The description. Doesn’t match the product. The description is warm %26white 13” x 9” precut cotton quilt batting However I scanned a previous package of warm %26 white. 45”x 60” baby size I got what I needed but hesitated 2 days due to description

I had never used cotton batting before in a quilt. I always used the polyester fluffy stuff. This cotton batting was the nicest to work with that I have ever used. I don't make lots of quilts all the time, but this was sure the ticket for a warm but light weight quilt. I was very pleased with this batting (also used the quilt basting spray which was a real boon for me). The basting spray works best with the cotton batting "they" say , and that is why I went with the cotton batting this time.

This cotton batting is everything it is advertised as. It’s white so it doesn’t show through the quilt. It ironed fine and the needles had no problem going through it even though I doubled it in my baby quilt. My only complaint is that it is so low loft that I didn’t think it would be warm enough for a baby using a single layer. I thought it was going to be a medium loft but it all worked out fine in my baby quilt by doubling the batting. I haven’t washed it yet so cannot comment on that.

I’ve been quilting small projects to full quilts for awhile. I always use cotton batting, and I generally use the natural style. Enter this Snow White batting from the Warm company. I’m currently working on a jelly roll strips quilt, and the between rows are a white print. I machine quilt using a standard sewing machine, and this batting is absolutely perfect! I used basting spray for all three layers before quilting. There was no slipping at all with this batting, and the pure white strips on the quilt top are pristine. The quilt is 74 x 60 inches, and it feels substantial with this batting in between layers of cotton fabric despite the fact it isn’t thick. I also love that it drapes beautifully…not stiff like a few I’ve made with other cotton batting in the past. I will note there is a “scrim” (which helps prevent bearding and clumping) on one side of the batting, so I placed that at the back side. I’m almost finished with my current quilt, and I’m off to a different one afterwards. It will have beautiful, print, large 10 inch blocks which I plan on hand tying for the finished project. This batting can be used for quilting up to 10”, so for my next quilt, this batting is going to be imperative for a perfectly finished quilt. I’m so excited I found this excellent batting, and I know I’ll be using only this batting from here on out for any of my quilting projects! Thank you for reading my review!

I needed this batting for a quilt I was making that required white batting. This precut size was perfect for my quilt and the cost was very reasonable compared to purchasing off the bolt. Good quality cotton. Maintained size and shape easily for pinning and stitching. The loft is lightweight providing warmth without having too much bulk or weight. This company is always my go to for quality quilt batting.

Have used batting from The Warm Company for years and have always been pleased with the performance.

This is the same batting that's sold for much more at expensive quilt shops. I'll certainly order my batting from you from now on. I'm very happy with my purchases.

I have used this batting for years, in several different types of projects. It’s a great quality and can be absorbent if that is necessary in your project.

Good quality! Used to make quilted wall hangings and was easy to cut and quilt through. Finished project is beautiful- just the right weight and thickness!
